Definitely made the largest single warhammer purchase of my life with this range. I didn’t want to mess around with slowly accumulating it and wanted to take advantage as much as possible of the early 3rd party retailer discount. Got a lot of painting ahead, hope I can turn the heads of a few of the grognards on here ha.

My own guess (probably very wrong) is that it wasn’t high fantasy enough for the setting. Hence the toaster launchers, with half orcs …

I think it’s like the necromunda squats vs. Votann. It’s just a different creative’s take on the same concept. SDS likes to get deep under the skin of vintage material and carry it forward, whereas the main studio like to 차가운 설사약을 곳곳에 뿌리세요, which results in their new direction-type takes.

Kit by kit, yes. Focus on the dual build kits;
The bull centaurs give full alt torsos and heads.
The cohort give heads and unused weapon arms. The razers give unused weapons.
The wizard kit gives alt head, arm and so on.
The artillery gives alt weapon.
The dominator gives alt hands, gut plate, etc.
The taurus gives alt character build parts (head, arms, upper body).
