The Daemons Stump: The Rise of the Chaos Dwarfs

Hi everyone,

I’ve been collecting Chaos Dwarfs for years, but I never got around to taking a full army picture until now.

This photo only includes the painted models, but I plan to share my work-in-progress pieces in future updates.

I hope you enjoy the collection! Apologies for the picture quality—finding an open space for the shot was a bit challenging.

Absolutely incredible collection!! I only dream of having a Legion of Azghor Army like this :dead:.

Wow! This is easily one of the best armies on the forum. The battle standard holding the hammer, the kdaii and the subtle highlights on the dark armour of the infernal guard are very nice (it all is).
Do you use an air brush for the grey highlights on the black armour?

Thanks so much for the kind words!

I actually didn’t paint the Lammasu, Bale, K’daai, warmachines, or the heroes on 20mm bases and Infernal guard with fireglaives.

These were commissioned pieces done by Myles from Lil’ Legend Painting, and I believe he used an airbrush for a lot of the paintwork, especially on the armor.

As for the rest of the army yes I painted them hence the skill difference, I’ve been collecting for years, and when I first got back into the hobby about 12 years ago, my painting skills weren’t quite what they are now. Hence why I commissioned the original pieces.

It’s been a learning process, but I’m really glad to hear you like the army!
