I am looking for the Troll King STL sculpted by Fabelzel. I cannot locate it (3 external drives) and its possible I forgot to download it before he retired. If anyone would be kind enough to help me out. I’ve looked everywhere online and cannot find him anymore.
I’ve started in on a fully FDM chaos dwarf army and it’s going great but it seems like almost all of the Fabelzel stl’s have been scrubbed from the internet. The google drive is broken and the patreon is gone. These the absolute best chaos dwarf models that I’ve seen and I’d like to use them for my army.
I understand the models were freely availably up until recently so I was wondering if anyone who has them would be willing to share them? I’m particularly after the hobgoblin khan and the hobgoblin bowmen.
Any help would be super super appreciated!

Are these them? Did a search and description indicates they are “remixes of sculptures by Fabelzel”
I’ve printed some and while i do like them, the head proportions are comically large for my taste (though certainly par for the course for the classic army look)
Those are the remixed models. I’ve printed a good number of them but I can’t find the original fabelzel sculpts which includes stuff like the hobgoblin bowmen, bull centaur reavers, and Ka’daai fireborn.

As far as I’m aware, Fabelzel himself removed the files from the repositories.
That’s a bit of a conundrum now, as I would not go behind the creator’s back now and distribute files on his behalf. Those are his models and it’s up to him to decide whether they are available or not.

Understandable. I’m feeling very unlucky since it seems like the drive was up just a few weeks ago. I would happily buy the files but there is no full collection on sale and the patreon is gone.

Unfortunately all these links point to the google drive or the deleted thingiverse account. I know there is some stuff up for sale on specialStl but that doesn’t included everything
Fabelzel put his models up for free right from the start. So if anyone is selling those stls, that’s probably not sanctioned.
Apparently now something made Fabelzel take them down. He might put them back up, who knows.

Oh I did not know they were free from the start. I thought they were sold first then made free by Fabelzel later. That makes it even more of a gray area.
There seem to be a lot of sellers on etsy as well but I’d like to print the files on my own. If you’re listening Fabelzel, I’d sacrifice my left arm to Hashut to have access to the files!

He has his paid patreon where he originally released the files but has put them up for free after a few weeks or so himself.
I’m not sure if he gave out etsy licenses for printed models, but definitely no stl-resale ones.
In the meantime, take a look at Brawniac Miniatures if you like, very similar style.

I was a Patreon and while the sculpts were great there was not much variety so you will be well served by the remixes. I think max152 is putting a blunder buss and he has like 13 axe warriors done you could print already. The only the he changes is the weapons and he shifts the hats around for variety. Unfortunately you will be without option for the special mounts and centaurs for now.
About the originals fabelzel is putting a metal range together using his sculpts and problaby the stuff he commissioned jota to do for him.
If you don’t want either options brawniac is also awesome. Very easy to paint and have some one off models such as the blind blunderbuss that look very nice as champions and etc.

I actually joined the Brawniac patreon from the recommend on the this thread and while I like the sculpts he seems very unresponsive and there is no way to access the STL’s by just subbing.
Just a word of warning for other people my experience with him hasn’t been good so far.
he will share the folder with you as soon as he notices you sub and subsequent new releases.
