Glad you are enjoying it. I’m inspired by my reading of Ancient arcadian texts, but also the 5th edition Warhammer Armies books, they have that chapter at the end about collecting a 1000 point army, with photos of the unpainted miniatures and commentary in the voice of the commanding general, I’m hoping to replicate that here.

Given that this is an “official only” project, I’m curious why not use the metal command models?

I don’t like the contrast between the monopose sculpts and the metal models, I love them both but I don’t want to mix them together, if that makes any kind of sense.

Thanks, I’m trying to decide if I should use a purple undercoat or not, I should do some test models I suppose, wish I could have got my hands on that free helsmith I would paint it up without feeling any guilt.

Thank you, I had intended to do something else with the weapon, but once I sat him up there on the saddle the axe just looked so right, therefore the sigmarite head as a sort of staff top, I like the idea of a deamon inhabiting the brass mask, the sound of its voice laughing inside the hollow space of the statuette.

What a cool conversion you’ve done there, that moustache turned out wonderfully evil and I really like the feathered wings too, so often you see the leathery wings but I think the feathers suit the conversion you’ve don’t perfectly
