Wanted to add some maneuverability and try the bullcentaurs.

The plan is to march forward with a screen of hobgoblins, use steed of shadows to charge/maneuver the ironsworn, flank with wolves and gitz and try to get some nasty charges with the bullcentaurs and the iron daemon.

Here is my opponent’s list. Damn that dragon is going to be a nightmare to deal with.

The archmage is going to fall victim to a Curse of Hashut hopefully.

I feel quite comfortable dealing with that amount of shooting thanks to T4, decent armor and the banner.

Might try to push a flank with the iron daemon and bull taurus with the khan and wolf riders helping them.

Any idea on how to deal with the dragon? I don’t feel comfortable with the idea of engaging it with either my general or the iron daemon.

So, I’m assuming that Archmage will either be in the the Dragon Princes or Ellyrian Reavers, probably the latter. In any case, you’ll need to kill two of them before you can target the Archmage without Look Out Sir. Just to keep that in mind and do the things in the right order

It’s, yeah, it’s not easy. I mean both your General as well as Iron Daemon are T7, so the Lord only wounds on 5+ and the Dragon on 4+. That’s OK for you. But they hit on 3+ and, yeah, it’s a lot. There’s not much you can do. You don’t have a unit with static CR +7 to challenge him out. Superior movement could be your only way. Somehow be able to charge with the Iron Daemon. That Dragon is impetuous and has a very large threat range, so he will have to roll from turn 1 on. Maybe you can use that to your advantage?

I didn’t realize the spell only allows you to target the character and that the Look Out Sir rule still applied, well nvm it’s just going to take a bit longer.

I thought of baiting it with the khan on wolf just to flee from it and leave it in range of my iron daemon and ironsworn (buffed with steed of shadows).
