Good looking bunch!

Bringing the fantasy world to life!

Aaaand we have the small gate

Damn, I am really excited for this. And I am pretty close to also backing the Cuetzpal Empire models, they are just so beautiful and thematic. And if I would become a patron, I could print a giant lizard army, which is good, because I only have two unassembled and five unpainted armies left…

Neat mixing in of Mediaeval Persianate and Arabic streaks with the heavy metal style and ancient Mesopotamian and Persian designs. Reminds me of The_Penguin’s glorious scratchbuilds.

What are the chances the the 2 biggest armies I have right now are Lizardmen and Chaos Dwarfs… I don’t think I’m allowed not to back this :man_shrugging:t2:

Mandatory I’d say.

So, for those that have backed, what are you planning on painting yours? I’m considering either bone or light grey stone trimmed with gold to fit in with the Zorn Uzkul, or using blue inks to do a blue lacquer effect and gold trim as a reference to the use of blue glazed bricks in ancient Mesopotamia.

Mhm, let’s see, first I have to get a 3D printer. Then I have to print all that terrain. Then I have to assemble and paint my Chaos Dwarfs. When that is all done, maybe there aren’t even “paints” anymore :joy:

But I guess something dark. The “Black Legion” scheme used in the example is maybe a little too much for me, but but something in that direction. Maybe black marble?

And just like that, we have the next stretch goal.

It’s turning into a complete pantheon!

We’d better copy all the Maghmôrin background and paste it into a backup thread around here, with pictures, credits and links to LKM.

How about rolling it into the wiki? To be honest it’s probably long overdue for the wiki to expand to cover Mantic’s Abyssal Dwarves, 9th Age’s Infernal Dwarves and other evil dwarves/fs.

For sure, though the wiki lives by volunteer updates. We’ll check out what can be done with the wiki on Discourse in due time. I never dabbled with wiki stuff on the old forum (@cornixt & @Bloodbeard excelled there) , but making it less hidden would make it worth to tend to. The wiki icon was way too obscure on old CDO, and new wiki articles never appeared announced on the forum list.

Drat. Only just saw this and missed the extra model. Such is life. I’m in.

They’ve just shown off what the stretch goal for FB shares looks like in its fullest:

It looks really nice!
I am a little concerned with the stability of the flying handler there, but I’m sure @LKMinis know what they’re doing

:astonished::astonished::astonished: I have no words but these

Any idea how much it will cost to get the cannon printed up by a 3rd party? My printer has broken down and I don’t know how long it will take to repair (might have to replace the whole ramps board), but I don’t think I could get anywhere near good enough quality to make it worth printing myself.

Assuming the material is a bit flexible, Id glue him attached to the wing there for extra stability.

Amazing models, really wish I had a good printer these days… Simply wow.

The 450 backer stretch goal has been unlocked:

Next stretch goal is a pair of special characters.
