Upcoming Chaos Dwarf 3D-printable terrain Kickstarter by Lost Kingdom Miniatures

Stunning stuff! Cannot wait

The fires of monumental megalomania has never been fanned this well before in the modelling world!

Lovely background.

I don’t only need a 3D printer (luckily an old mate apparently has a „spare“ one I can borrow :+1:), I also need a bigger apartment :flushed:

Get one of the ones that prints in concrete and print yourself a whole life sized house with it using the files and you’ll have plenty of room.

Might just have to buy 1000 Tjublings to replace every merlon :guardsman: :guardsman: :guardsman: :guardsman:

Why replace every Mellon when you can use those Tjublings to guard the battlements? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Next stretch goal hit and we’ve got some fluff to accompany it:

While the magic of the most powerful priests in the civilized Kingdoms buried them alive, Assur raised an energy field large enough to safeguard part of his Kingdom, including the Royal Ziggurat and its inhabitants. When the last shimmer of light was covered, darkness and silence became masters and lords, but the Magmhôrin Dwarves are not easy to frighten, and their mining expeditions had them more than accustomed to darkness and rarefied air. They tried to dig tunnels to the outside, but the magic was so powerful that not even the Assur himself made a dent in the rock. He gathered together all the engineers, scholars, and explosives experts who had survived to search for solutions to their captivity. They were all confident of their superiority over other races, so it was not a question of how they would get out, but when.

Maybe the aspirant sorcerers get petrified as children if they cannot muster the strength to channel magic. Yet the ever enterprising architects found a way to put legions of petrified children to defensive use… Ever since I’ve seen Tjub’s fireguard I’ve been wanting to use them as sconces on pillars or something similar.

Kickstarter exclusives for anyone who backs before April 20th have just been posted:

Alright, time for a campaign update.
In the last week, an average of about 15 backers joined the campaign each day. Should that continue, it would mean another 225 backers until the end. Plus, usually the last two days of campaigns see another spike. With the adapted stretch goals, we need another 300 backers to get the Anzû Cannon, and I guess we all really, really, really want that :hat
Fingers crossed, it’s gonna be close!

Ohhhh snap, your kid is a champ!

“Hey son, can I use your printer to print out some more toy soldiers? Pretty please!” is definitely a sentence nobody thought to hear a couple of years ago :hat

Scenery and models of the armory and bazaar. I like them a lot, lots of character.

Oh, Ill be needing to get a printer for this in the future… Haha… :stuck_out_tongue:

agreed, this stuff is off the hook

Alright, after a good two days, especially Sunday saw above-average numbers for new backers, the campaign quickly moved past three updates, including the Magmhorin Forge. I really like that model, and it obviously goes along great with the added KS exclusive smith-models.

The Anzu Cannon is definitely in range if the trend holds. I think the models are already a great value for the price, and I have high hopes that a lot of people had the campaign on notice and will, when they come back 48h before close, join the wagon.

I do hope well see some of these as armies in the future… Hope the material used to print is cheap. :stuck_out_tongue:
