Been playing around with the new Chaos Dwarf Bull Centaur kit that arrived in the mail yesterday!

Some kitbash ideas and some size comparisons. :ox:

This looks like an amazing kit, I may have to pick these up some sooner rather than later.

What’s your favourite kit so far @Xander ? You’ve had a really good look at quite a lot of them now

That’s a very promising start! Excited.

Just as a sidenote: are you aware of the grid-function for pictures here? Think it’s a cool feature for picture heavy threads.

Cheers dude!

Not a bad idea. I wonder how they look on mobile. I’ll have to experiment.

I tend to prefer larger images to scroll through on mobile rather than constantly tapping to zoom in.

Maybe in they mobile view the grid defaults to a single column, Hmm.

A fair, yeah most of the time I’m here on a desktop.

Wonderful size comparisons, cant wait to see what else can be made with this kit

Bull Centaurs are easily my favorite new models. And the kit seems quite strong. I’ll know more once I build the other two Bulls.

All the kits have been excellent so far, easy to build and not very many half-a-thing-split-sideways parts, which is nice to see.

I’ve barely needed the instructions for anything, it’s been great.

Cheers! Definitely send like there is a ton of potential here.

How feasible would it be to have the armoured bodies, the unmasked heads but the bare arms holding those glaive things?

That’s what I mocked up initially, and it’s very doable. I’ll be making at least one of those.

The armoured torsos are easily stripped of any attached limbs.

The bare arms’ deltoids are a part of the bare chested torso, so that will be the trickiest part to snip off and transfer.

I’ll post pictures. :ok_hand:

I think you can get away with not needing the deltoids with a bit of filler. The shoulder pads can easily hide the arm to shoulder joins. :flexed_biceps:

More sketches!

Run some K’daai in AoS?

Not bad for one box and some elbow grease. :flexed_biceps:

Cheers for that. Definitely looks like it’s not just possible but very little adjustments.

Do they come with command options (Banner & horn) if not where are those from?

What I learn looking at these is they need to all go up on rocks etc to look like the artwork in the book

Hahaha, thanks Nico! Nothing wrong with a little inspiration. You’re just biding your time.

You are welcome!

The command bits are from the excellent Ogroid Theridon kit. I highly recommend picking this up, it’s great.

There are a few little stumps that elevate them of the base a bit, bit I’ll definitely be using basing to lift up their poses a bit. :+1:

Oh that’s a good shout, always loved that kit anyway. And I still need those Dolores (learned a word today, excellent) for my Bull Centaur Renders. Although I guess the Theridon hands are too small for Renders, right? No biggy, need to be cut then.

lol, Dolores was an autocorrect. :joy:

But yes, a great kit!

And no, the Theridon hands and arms are actually a bit larger than the Bull Centaur ones and take a bit of reworking to not look over long.

I’ll keep calling those things Dolores. :+1:
