So i went through entire blog on this site and the old one. Have to say im pretty jealous! So many nice things. Im most drawn to your mix of metal foot troops and reinforced my belief that i need a juggernaught as my army centre piece.
Im v disappointed clam doesnt sell his creations any more. Your blog answered one of many questions i had though in that macrocosm cds= sjoerdoes cds. Thanks for that. Placed an order straight away.
I have another question for you is that i discovered he has those c.w. mini mes created but im not a member on the old forum. How do i contact him to buy them? Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask…im a bit noobie…

I am not sure if I understood you correctly (my English is not the best), do you want to contact @Sjoerdo? Sjoerdo is also a member of this new forum - you can just send him a PM. He has also his own blog, you might be interested in this too. What are the “c.w. mini mes”? I can’t place them right now.
Otherwise you can ask me all questions, only that I always have an answer ready I can not guarantee.
The new Bull Centaur models (including Hero) from “The Russian Alternative” have just arrived! The evening is saved! I have also almost finished painting the first models of Ral Partha and Sjoerdo, let’s see when I get the knack of taking pictures of them …

I have my eyes on him for some time now but cant find decent pictures of him painted or compared to the other centaurs.

Thanks a lot for your encouraging words, always nice to hear when others like my stuff too! I’m currently painting the BC, as soon as I’m done there will be photos here! But already in advance, except for some small gaps, which can be filled with Greenstuff without any problems, these are great models! I would buy them again anytime. Furthermore the price is unbeatable!

Here is a comparison picture between a “normal-sized” Bull Centaur and the new Bull Centaur Hero - both models are from “The Russian Alternative”. I think, as I said several times before, the models are great and I can only recommend them!

Zanko. I need to ask you another question. Where did you get those nice olde worlde boar centaurs from? There is a really cool bull centaur lord from macrocosm i bought and a diehard minatures boar centaur that match well size wise but i need to find more of a similar type to fill out a unit of at least 6. My mantic ones are too big.
You mean those Boar Centaurs?!
I converted them from the old GW Boar Centaur bodies and the upper bodies of old Metal Magic (the company hasn’t been around for 20 years) Chaos Dwarves.
You could get Boar Centaur models from Atom Taylor (he was active in the old CDO forum, here is his Facebook account=> [Redirecting...]) and convert them if necessary.
Could you please post a pic of the BC of Macrocosm? I didn’t find it on their website.

Here you are. Stuck together with blu tac. Lovely model. I think your bull centaurs are my favourite thing in your blog. Have not seen any thing remotely like them anywhere. Have a look at the diehard boar centaur. Its also v nice. If you also pester the chris ( the guy that runs macrocosm) to release his bull centaur unit i will continue to do so, maybe he will… who knows : p

The upper part of the body is from a model which Sjordo made, this was then “simply” modelled onto a matching lower body. Cool idea, I made it similar with my Boar Centaurs.
I found the Centaur on the website after all, was probably blind the last time I looked. If I still find something I will probably buy the model!
Id have thought you might like this guy too
He is the diehardminatures guy.

I had already looked at the “Diehard Minatures” model on their website. They look pretty cool too, even though I like the Macrocosm model better. Let’s see when the two centaurs find their way to me … ;o)
