I really like the way you’ve left this open to do a weapon swap. It’s not something you see very often on here. Infact I can’t remember anyone else doing this.
The sculpting is quite good as well! Converting dwarfs to stand with one foot on anything is always a challenge.
holy hashit! that’s awesome! can’t believe the hero, he just oozes chaosnessies (how’s it spelt?, sorry ), the way you’re making chaos dwarfs look like chaos is fantastic + it’s good to see such an original army with helmets, 3rd ed is the way to go.
Thanks everybody for the nice comments, I appreciate all your feedback! :hat off
Clam: I was thinking about making the lord from scratch from the beginning, but I had almost no greenstuff left (atleast not to make his bulky body) + I was eager to start playing small warband battles, so I couldn’t wait until I had bought some more.
But as you can see in the early pics were I’ve stripped all the unnessesary details of him, his practically nothing more than a plastic blob
I’ve made some scratch models before, and I even plan scratch building both a taurus and lammasu later in this project, now that I’ve bought more of that green gold :cheers
tjub: rare earth magnets? now you’re getting me confused, whats that?
I have over 80 3mm neodym magnets in a box, but those are reserved for my 3 carnifexes
Anyhow, the pinning I used worked great, Its just a filed down goblin spear ;).
Zanko: more conversions and sketches will come, that’s a promise!! :cheers
I have mostly drawn CD the past days (as you’ve might seen in the artwork thread)
so now I long for working some on the three dimensional ones!
I’ll grab my sculptingtool the first thing I do in the morning
