Normally, I don’t care for the “mini-chaos warrior” look - it doesn’t feel original enough for a different army, but you have created an army that definitely overcomes this prejudice of mine!
Your hero is fantastic and the swappable left arms are bloody brilliant!
The BCs have an interesting look to them, and I hope to see more of this army, particularly once you have painted some of it.

this is the sketch I made in the beginnig of the project, and was how I wanted the model to look like in the end.

started by giving a BFSP dwarf hero his deserved treatment :D

I made new boots out of greenstuff, and placed him on a styrofoam rock. I had a hard time making him stick, so the boots got messed up, but I fixed it once the gs had harden.

started to work on details

added shoulderpads, and bannerpoles.
Once it was time to glue the shield, I felt bad having to hide 1/3 of all details with a huge shield. It was then I decided to make the arm removable, I then also made an extra arm, carrying an additional hand weapon.

Amazing work on that character. Once primed, let alone painted, it’ll be VERY hard to figure out that it was converted! It looks very natural, again good work.
The Sneaky Gits are also dynamic, without being exaggerated. That may be worth investing in Plague Monks.
Things at school starts to cool down and I’m done with all various commissions, which means I now have more time to spend on my miniatures!
My great weapon chaos dwarfs are now ready for baseing, and I started making my own movement trays, (perhaps a small tutorial on that aswell?)
When I’m completly done basing the models I will post better pictures in the conversion corner,.
These pictures will have to do for now.

I also got another project up and going.
I mentioned in this blog earlier, that I would make both a scratch built taurus and Lammasu.
And after I posted the poll concerning a masked Lammasu I felt as duty to make one, to enlighten you with my vision
and a certain competition, cough golden hat cough gave me a reason to start off.
Working in the same order as I did with my hero, I’ve started with making a sketch,. to build up my idea which I later try to stick to as much as possible.
and here are the very first progress pic’s.
the stone
stone with legs
working on the skeleton for the tail and upper body. I lead the two wires togheter, but later I found that a hot glue gun work just as good.
size comparison
comparison to the sketch
And that’s all for now,. I will continue my work tomorrow, and hopefully update later that evening.
If the work goes along as planned, I will start updating very frequently from now on, and it feels gooood.
As I understood while reading the rules for golden hat, It’s ok to enter any model unless it has been shown PAINTED on the site before. So for what I know, It’s alright as long as you only show greenies.
But feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, I would only be glad to know for sure.
( It would be pretty dissapointing if I couldn’t enter it later. x.x )
My plans for now is to continue updating the blog with progress pics on my entry, until someone comes and tell me not to.
maybe I’ll PM grimstone and ask him.
Bazil: If I’d made it entierly out of greenstuff, I’d be ruined!
I will continue by making the bulk out of tinfoil and self-curing clay, before I’m applying a thinner layer of greenstuff.
I’ll post more pictures tonight, Hopefully I managed to fix both the foil and clay part by then.
the wings will be added later,. when I built everything else.
Well, as a rule fo thumb nobody shall post his miniatures because they shall remain anonimous. My idea is that rules state 4 pictures only for everybody. When you post more pictures in your blog, you have more possibilities because you have more then just 4 pictures. For example I remember people posting their warmachines during GH VIII and IMO it was not fine. IMO WIP give an unfair advance to massive conversions over painting… and this is not fine.
AS you can see I posted IMO many times… no pretend that everybody agree with me.
Your Lammasu looks really promising! Please do not enter it into GH, otherwise I’ll never win!!!
Jepp, I was one of them who did, shame on me :P. I didnt think it thru and just wanted to update the blog, and Im sure m3lvin thought the same with the WIPs. But I fully agree with you Bassman that WIPs of the entry shouldnt be posted untill the GH is over…
