Uther the unhinged:

As promised (threatened) a couple of WIPs of Gunhilda of the blonde bombshells (obviously as cd will be peroxide blonde) 1st Walkur of Hashut

and the counts as Iron clad. This is in its very early stages and top secret. NO ONE must get the plans

Armour, guns and rotors (lots of rotors) are due to be added

Ghrask Dragh:

Oh oh, looks like the word is out…

Love the bombshell idea, love the Star Wars tie in altogether

tjub:

Hahaha… :hat off

This message was automatically appended because it was too short.

Uther the unhinged:

Finally finished my Walkurs of Hashut |(count as Kharadron skywardens) Gunhilda, Bathilda and Clothilda. Sadly the blojje didn’t work well so they wenr back to their natural hair colour

So:

da da ded DAH DAH

da da ded DAH DAH

da da ded DAH DAH

da da ded DAHhhhhh

Gunhilda

Bathilda

and Clothilda

and the unit

Sadly the death moon of Hashut is delayed in construction but one day the reberls will know its power MWahahahaha

Uther the unhinged:

Here is my poor little GH entry

the painting bad even for me but had less than an hour to paint before deadline whilst suffering with the flu. Never mind it was fun to do (and I have no shame),

don’t play Blood Bowl so all three girls now repurposed and painted a bit better as three pyrophant sorcerer/witches (with big pointy hats of course).

Three more ladies to join the Walkurs of Hashut

The sisters are casting it for themselves

HPN:

Flying legion is getting ranks filled up. The repurpose looks good! Less “tech” and more arcane than the previous Walkurs.

Uther the unhinged:

Thanks HPN. Yep the flyers are done now. Just got the battleline to do. These are supposed to be rapidly deployed troops. Sooo I have a problem. I see them jumping from the Flying Iron clad at low levels. Obviously they will meed to reduce their descent speed . I have 4 options

1. Big hats with small rotors

2 Big hats deploying small parachutes

3 Big hats deploying large umbrellas (the kids choice)

4 Big hats deploying small balloons

What do you guys think?

As for the sorceror/witches they are part of a completely different legion. I have not got pictures of them up but they are an ?~organic?T legion with biological warmachines. I need to paint some more stuff.

TheHoodedMan:

The walkurs look great :-). I really like the sculpts and conversions.

Maybe you could improve the overall appearance even more if you would do one or two more steps on the skin and the eyes of the models.

Uther the unhinged:

Thanks. Glad you liked them. Yes I really should do some more particlarly the eyes. The trouble is I love the ideas and putting them together ( badly) but struggle with the painting, O just want to get ontp the next thing too much (my ADHD traits I guess). I really struggle making multiple models I have to start all at once or the second lot don?Tt get finished. I have 6 monocycle BCs nearly finished stalled by ?~beard boredom?T.

Uther the unhinged:

OK. The flying legion has stalled a bit so I thought I would show some other slightly odd CD stuff.

It started when I got bored of steampunk (I know when you are tired of steampunk you are tired of life). Anyway AOS brought out Fyreslayers. I love slayers little macho mohicaned monsters , but my son had taken mine. Anyway fyreslayers were mercenaries so I could field them with my CDs. Obviously they would be evil Hashut worshipping Darkeslayers (see I even kept the extra ‘e’).

This led to these

I even made some hearthguard (templeguard). Then they brought in allegiance rules and fielding counts as fyreslayers with chaos was out.

BUT I liked the aesthetic. So Beserkers became Ironsworn with magic brands instead of armour. Hearthguard became fireglaives etc

Now of course I needed Warmachines. But these guys had no armour. I concluded that they would be in an area short of metal and so would have to come up with ‘organic’ solutions.

Sooo here is their counts as iron daemon

I call him a Jabba Grig War beast. Obviously he does not have steam cannons but a mass fusillade of gunfire, and a cute tail.

Admiral:

Joyful conversions as always. Really neat Iron Daemon!

Uther the unhinged:

Thanks Admiral. Yes, Joyful describes them well I think. In the words of the great Slartibartfast ‘I’d much rather be happy than right.’.

Any way continuing my slow slide into weirdness, I found I needed a sorcerer counts as Drazoath. Now about this time I noticed that my son (WoC, DoC, BoC and anything else that looks cool|) was not using a model that he had been given ages ago by the ago for a birthday by his Grand parents. He never painted it never took it in an army etc. When I asked why he said he did not like it (its lovely) .So we did a deal I got the model if I made him a ghorgon to replace it.

So at last Uther the unhinged had a mount

and my son his Ghorgon

dncswlf:

Wow man! You have quite an incredible force going on here! So creative, and destructive looking! I love the T.I.I.E. fighter! and all the pop culture name blends! genius! Really enjoyed going through your blog here! Do you actually field them in Age of Sigmar games?

Uther the unhinged:

Dncswlf-Yes I do field them but I only play with my kids really so I am boss Mwhahahaha.

OK. To document my slow slide into oddness I have decided to show my latest er creation. There os a story behind him. My youngest daughter (7) bought me a figure for my birtjday. She went on ebay with her savings and help from her siblings. Apparently the search took hours. She knows I play chaos dwarfs and often convert orcs. Therefore she eventually decided on a 40k human Blightbringer (obviously) and could not be persuaded otherwise. Gpod girl! What a lovely mini! So he obviously had to become a chaos dwarf. My other daughter (15 so no excuse) had been hassaling me for ages to make cd cavalry and was very insistent as to their mounts. Soooo here is Thralin, Herald of Lord Kilain and Harbinger of the forces of Hashut.

Not quite done yet

Some nurgle symbols to go and flames to add to the nurgling to make him a K’daiiling

Abecedar:

Great squidly type beast. Best stuff to make is for fun, just like your doing

Willmark:

and the counts as Iron clad. This is in its very early stages and top secret. NO ONE must get the plans

Uther the unhinged

?oImpressive. Most impressive.?

Uther the unhinged:

Thanks Willmark. Sadly progress on the Death Moon is slow (rebel attacks, sabotage, children you know the sort of thing) and now my daemonsmiths have been pulled from the prpject for some rush job on a golem. Hey ho Rome was not destroyed in a day.

Cloister:

Wow look at all this weird stuff! Awesome and creative conversions, Uther.

Jackswift:

Love your crazy conversions.  That Harbinger mount sculpt is a thing of beauty.

Well done on the form and tentacles. Unique and sinister.   Keep it up.

Uther the unhinged:

Thanks Cloister and Jackswift. Crazy and weird just about sums it up. I have not got your skills so I overcompensate. As for the squidly harbinger another 15 troopers on squidly snails are planned ( my daughter also wants a snail chariot with a hobgoblin in front with a red flag to warn people of its terrible speedy approach… I can?Tt think where she gets it from). My kids have collected 11 shells already.

Worryingly I have loads of weird cd stuff I have not posted yet. It needs painting and the golem to complete the force. Then quite a bit of fluff to desperately justify it.
