Another Artisans contest over and success! I knew a big hat would swing it. A silver medal this time, obviously the tower was a little small and to plane. Oh and the hat not quite big enough. Never mind there is always the GH to come.
Sovereign is the Fabled Tower of Uther, constructed mid the ruins of storied Imgur, I�?Tll fated capital of thrice cursed Imgurania.

OK, so here are some wips of the Fabled Tower of Uther.
The base construction is two cardboard toilet roll inners. These were covered with layers of paper and dilute pva for strength. The steps are air drying clay washed with two coats of dilute pva. The platform is two jar lids covered with paper and pva. The faces are moulds from various giants, great abyssal half needs and LoTR chess set orcs. The big skulls with symbols are moulds from the vale wind vortex as is the symbol on top. The other skulls are GW skulls. The elf (Galadriel) dwarf (Gimli) human (Aragorn) orc and hobgoblin faces at the bottom are moulds from y LoTR chess set. The runes say (roughly) My Name Is Uther on the tower and Look on my works ye mighty and despair round the base in air drying clay.
