Only reason for the teases is that I don’t have them finished! I still dont; I painted them quite a bit last night, but they are still not done. Right now they are my sole painting focus. Finishing them tonight is optimistic thou. I think I can finish 7 BCs plus the leader. But don’t think I can finish the standard bearer and musician. They both need a lot more detail work.

Here it is… the ones you have been waiting for, and no jokes this time. For all intents and purposes they are done. I only have to finish the banner. I ran out of time tonight so rather then rush I decided to wait till Wednesday (my next opportunity to paint) to hopefully finish that. I still have to root around my bitz box for something to stick on the ends as of the banner pole as well.
Sorry the WIP pics aren’t better. Once I finished sculpting them I was in a rush to get them primed so I forgot to take, a “gray and green series of them”.
The big problem I ran into is I had to change my idea for the picture that was going on the banner… I’m going to use that for my GHV entry!
Sorry I couldn’t hit my Sunday deadline. as I type this its 12:17 EST, and I’m a bit tired. Wow 2,000+ points? Who would of thunk it?
So without further delay here is my Pulper inspired Bull Centaurs! Also there is a small homage to AGPO on several of the Bull Centaurs, lets see if anyone can guess what it is…
I hope they live up to the hype! (gulp) Lastly, I have to get a better camera, the one I’m using is making the red look horrid in these photos

DAYUM! Looks brilliant! I like the addition of a couple more marauder banners to make it wider. The only thing I could say to improve it, is that there may be too much gold. Only thing is, I don’t know what colour you should put where… It has been worth the wait though and I can imagine what the real red looks like, if that helps

from a fluff point of view i would say that as these are hashuts chosen, they should be bathed in gold as far as weapons and armour are concerned. From an aesthetic point of view, i agree with Hashut Blessings point. Perhaps you could try some coppor/iron detailing, just to break up the solid colour, but also to make the remaining gold ‘pop’ a bit more.

I´d probably try to get a shot of them in daylight with no flash at all. Best quality by far, alternatively a daylight lamp.
Besides that, looking good good. Luv them bases.

The conversions look very nice, I particularly like the one fellow in the first rank with the raised axe. I definitely like the general scheme (red/gold) but the red on the bull-parts themselves seems a bit bright. Is that just the camera or were you going for a blood red finish? If I were to offer any criticism it would just be that the red could go a bit darker imo.

Don’t save the pictures as gifs, that format isn’t very good for wide ranges of colours and they come up grainy (which was how I noticed). Just use high quality jpgs. They look good, need something that isn’t gold on them though.

Thanks for your views/comments/constructive criticism guys! The biggest problem is I’m using a POS 1.3 MP camera that is old like 8 years old. Looks like the the new camera is a go.
Good point Cornixt I was using gifs for the upload speeds. I’ll try jpegs. Better camera will make them look much better I’m thinking thou too

Khan: They actually have a great deal of shading. I used a dark red washes for the shadow areas and orange for highlights. Its just you can’t see it in the photos!

Awesome!!! I was gutted the site was down but its a real treat to see all the cool stuff you guys have come up with. Still hunting for the boar centaur tribute though…
