They came up really well, you must be pleased with them. The banner is nice too (freehand painting is damned hard).
If only I could give slaves…

Looking good! I might have to loot that banner icon :).
Willmark:
Looking good. That banner is pure pwnage. Wish I had decent free-hand skills. I don't even have the same level of basic painting skills. Good job all around :DThanks HB! As I've said before Its all about what U can do, not others. If your happy with your painting thats all that matters.

UPDATES
Lets talk about hobbo bolt throwers: Here’s mine!
Here’s the first one with the crew painted in red:
Hashut’s Blessing:
I’m happy with my painting, but it could still be better. Looking good with the bolt throwers, I especially like the shield barrier things.
EDIT: I forgot to mention, I REALLY like the black and brown clothing on the second crew. it looks really, hmmm, natural? Like the sort of ordinary people’s colours…

UPDATE
At long last here are the WIP pics of my BCs. Anyone following the blog knows what a nightmare it has been to actually get all of the parts for this unit.
Right now I’d say they are at about the 1/3 stage of completeness. Only the left one with the double handed axe & the standard bearer on the far left is near being done. All others still need a bunch more green stuff on them.
Their waists are not even close to being done (only the afore mentioned one in front is). I had to add a lot of gs to give them some structural strength as it were. So what you see in those pics will be covered up. It also gives you an idea of the height of said BCs.
So here they are without further adieu:
Lastly next unit to be painted is the Lammasu which I have started with the basic colors on it. Stay tuned for that!
Hammerhand:
looking cool wm, I love the drummer!
minty:
sweet, get those super-dwarves finished quickly so I can drool some more Drools
I’m loving the sue of old chaos warrior bits, what gave you the idea?:hat off
Hashut’s Blessing:
Looking good so far. Since you posted them, I’ll give a little criticism (hopefully constructive). You’re probably planning this already (seeing as they’re only a third done), but make sure the waists are somewhat thicker. It might look a little unnatural for a dwarf and a bull to end up with a British size 0 waist is all. Unnatural considering the fact that we’re pretending a dwarven bull is natural
However, I’m loving the little details, like the champion’s finger pointing out and the extension to the marauder banner. Good work, keep it up and get showing! Witht he lamassu, no matter how much I can’t wait to see some progress, only post a finished pic of it
Ghrask Dragh:
:hat off Great Bolt Throwers!! I really like the effects of the metal infront of the one, looking good!
look forward to see how the Bull Centaurs turn out :cheers
Kera foehunter:
Great job Willmark your best ever!!! i also like your bullcentaurs great green stuff work too

You'll all just have to wait until then!

Hashut’s Blessing:
I guess you missed that part :D I haven't really been awake today and I've had stresses. Give a guy a break when he's got the internet back after a week and has to attend to various staff duties on various websites and plainly catch up on others :PYou're probably planning this already (seeing as they're only a third done), but make sure the waists are somewhat thicker.HB you must have missed this part of the post. ;)

No worries my friend I usually post waaaayy to late sometimes (half asleep) or way to early (still half asleep),
Hashut’s Blessing:
That last post was at 7:23 am apparently and I didn’t go to bed before hand! I need to get some sleep as when I’m fully awake, I’m half-asleep! (Wow, paradox or what!)

UPDATE!
Below are pics of my Lammasu!
…
Hahahah :o Got you looking! In all seriousness I got a TON of painting done with the model last night (about 4 solid hours worth).
I have to work the part time job tonight, If I get home in enough time tonight i might be able to get some pics up (unlikely- the weather is really crappy here right now). More likely is Saturday night (late).
* Base is nearly done.
* Chaos Sorcerer Lord is nearly done (about 80% complete now)
* Lammasu is about 80% done as well.
Willmark’s Army Builder Tip #2
Even if the model you are working on isn’t coming out the way you imagined in terms of painting it, don’t give up! I ran into that early with painting the Lammasu and I kept on working on it. As I added successive layers to the model is started to look better and better. Now its at a point where I’m rather pleased with it.
minty:
Damn you willmark, i thought it was done :hat
but still, hope it turns out good, 4 hours of painting is bad, but I had to complete a full 500pts harad army for the store a while ago, while the site was down, in…12 hours, me was sleepy and missed collage and work that day:)
but hey, hope it goes good, but don’t taunt me like that again:hashut
Ghrask Dragh:
well done willmark!! (your making more progress on yours than I am on mine :sad) seriously can’t wait to see it, roll on saturday!
hal:
Looks like you’re working hard on your army Willmark, can’t wait to see this Lamassu.
Willmark:
UPDATE
Sorry HB, I know you only wanted to see it went fully done, but how about 95%? I still have to add some static grass, but for the most part the model is now complete. I don’t often say this but the pictures do not do this justice, it came out really well IMHO.
I will add another set of pictures for this model once I do the banners and finish the grass on the base; admittedly I haven’t given the banners much thought yet so it may take a while to do.
The reds and oranges give it a very fiery feel to it I think. I’m glad I did this one first as it gave me some good insight on assembly and some things I’m more willing to add to the Taurus.
Speaking of the Taurus, next up may be the Taurus, I just got my wings that were on back-order today. So while waiting in vain for the base of the Lammasu to dry I stripped the old paint job off of it, and glued the wings, bent the horns and glued the rock for the base to the 50 mm base.
Next unit of Chaos Dwarfs to green stuff is up to, plus formulating ideas for the blundies. However, I may work on the BCs next instead, or maybe even the super secret Death Rocket I’ve been hinting at!
Stay Tuned!
