Red Skullz:
Haha! And Gold Rush is THE favorite show. Lamenting the poor mining skills of the manlings.
Red Skullz:
Another CDO special. This will be the part 8 article. Have to admit even though I don’t like to brag that these turned out way better than I dared hope

Bloodbeard:
Great work. It’s a first for the race of chaos dwarfs!
I’m a fan of the new utility of plastic axemen.
I’m not a fan of the flat red bull head fronts. The colour and style just seems orcish to me.
tjub:
For my personal taste this is on the border to what I think fits in WFB, but none the less its a cool modeling concept and a good looking unit. CD snow mobiles, Ill have to admit it quite funny.
Bloodbeard:
For my personal taste this is on the border to what I think fits in WFBSaid the man who owns a CD Submarine and a mechanical CD transformer crane dragon! :hat off
tjub
Red Skullz:
Cheers for all of the comments chaps
@Bloodbeard:
Thank you! That’s actually something being first with something on this forum
The monoposers are underrated
I did the same style on the Iron Daemon with the Bull motif. This time a huge part was getting across to people what these count as. Also to break up the monotony of the metals. I used references at hand to get the style correctly but I get that it can come across as orcish even though that thought never strayed my mind before you said it.
@tjub:
Haha, I agree on Bloodbeards statement that it says something coming from you
Nonetheless, thanks and I always knew these would be a mixed bag for people.
@Herby:
Thanks mate!
Admiral:
I thought tjub had a CD monitor gunboat rather than submarine? Anyway, the Bull Scooters look great! :cheers
Red Skullz:
Cheers mate
This message was automatically appended because it was too short.
Yodrin:
I think they look awesome!!! Wouldn’t fit in my army, but that doesn’t matter at all… You go girl…lol
Red Skullz:
Cheers Yodrin
Next up will be the hobbos to get a valid 2k list then back to more fun stuff. Not done yet!
Fuggit Khan:
I can see where these might not be everybody’s cup of tea, there is always a fine line between what ‘fits’ for fantasy, and what may be seen as too modern. And yes, they do have a bit of an Orc flavor to them…but you know what? I LOVE THEM!
They are great models, well done, creative and certainly unique.
And who would not be proud of that?
Bonus points for using the old plastic monopose mini’s
:cheers
Red Skullz:
Really appreciate it Fuggit
and what would be the odds of two guys going for the custom built tracked bull centaur at the same time, haha
And the orc flavor is definitely an indirect factor. It sits deep in me apparently, lol!
tjub:
Haha, didn’t mean to offend anyone. Of course we have different views on taste and purity towards GWs originals.
Edit: Btw, given the latest contest and their snow theme a Santa looking character should be dead on!
Red Skullz:
Aye but this forum is a lot about being creative and expressing those thoughts in miniature form. I like the discussion this brings as it’s the same as with art. A big deal is the “controversy” it displays and the discussion that follows. Not comparing my stuff to art but that you guys voice your opinions in a non-trollish manner is great fun and very interesting.
What contest btw?
Dînadan:
What contest btw?The Artisan's Contest (see the Website News forum)

Jupp, I know Im a bit outside the box as well with the comical twist… Just wanted to make sure, sometimes things don’t get across as intended with text based communication.
The contest is here: http://www.chaos-dwarfs.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=15158&pid=247552#pid247552
Red Skullz:
Cheers for letting me know! I might just have a good idea for the contest
Red Skullz:
Finally finished the earthshaker!
More pics and and more on my WiP hobbos in my blog:

It looks great! I’m a fan of bases as varied and alive as yours. Perhaps it’s not fitting for Dark Lands CDs, but yours are obviously out on a skiing semester of sorts.
Nice inclusion of the ogre. The sculpting style of it fits in well with the big hats.
