Kera foehunter:

so where does the other steps leed that are in your picture??

Border Reiver:

Those would be the neighbours, I don’t have good lighting inside and am too cheap to buy a decent light, so I take pics outdoors.

Border Reiver:

It’s been a while but here are some new pics

Kurgan Grudgebearer on foot

Since with the Indy GT rules, I’m using him as a Daemonsmith with the spelleater blade, I created a “Spelleater” rune taking Hashut’s Rune and the Valaya rune (the one that protects Dwarfs from magic)

A Daemonsmith with the Blade of Bedevilment - Curse Rune and a Daemon Rune

Borath the Cruel with the Hell blade of Hashut (rune of Fire, combined with the Hashut Rune

And my tenderiser/ Daemoneater

I’ve also updated the Death Rockets, but as that update only reqired a rebasing and some touch ups, I haven’t taken new photos.

Pyro Stick:

Nice use of the blood bowl models. I think you should do more with the bases though. Like paint on some lava effect or something. And its nice to see a tenderiser although it could do with more colour. One just went on ebay for £37!.

Kera foehunter:

great job i love your paint colors the figure look great as always b r

it look like spring made it to the great white north !!

Border Reiver:

The cost is the reason I haven’t added a Whirlwind.

I agree that my bases are boring, but when your warrior covers most of the base, I just don’t see the point in going for dramatic bases.

Border Reiver:

Got the BFSP Thunderers converted and finished last week - now all I have to do is photograph them as proof.

Am now working on repainting 5 of the other Blunderbusses so I have a unit of 15 and a unit of 18.

Kera foehunter:

we believe you Mr Reiver

but photo are cool to

Border Reiver:

Anything for you Kera - except my heart. That belongs to my wife, that and other body parts.

We’ll start this out with some BFSP Thunderers made into Blunderbusses

jolpis:

wow, you’ve got quite a horde, and where did you get the bull on the champions hat?

Border Reiver:

It was part of a Bull Centaur Standard top. I had cut off the standard to make an axe haft for a champion and thought that the bull woud look good, so I cut it up.

Kera foehunter:

Well B R i love the army it greatly painted !! even more i love how the shrub is growing !!

Border Reiver:

That burning bush is my wife’s and my favourite. In the fall the leaves look really good.

Kera foehunter:

well i hope you have some painting to do then !!

the red will look great for a back ground

Border Reiver:

And now that it’s completed - The Ninevah Regt

It’s Champion

Standard Bearer

Musician

and 2 warriors (one metal and one plastic)

Right now I’m working on two Swivel guns/ Eription Guns - so look for them in the near future.

kefas:

I thought blue is bad color idea for chd bu I was wrong maybe only in your example!

Willmark:

Not bad on the shields its hard to keep freehand steady.

Border Reiver:

Thank you, freehand can be nasty to do well, but a bretonnian army where you try to replicate actual heraldry is good trining.

I managed to finish off the swivel guns today and tried a lava base. These will get redone later.

Kera foehunter:

Kera Take note of the swivel gun !! get her green stuff slave on the idea

i like the tall hat of your hero
