We have over 500 dice ordered so the price is $0.42USD per dice, with postage to be worked out later on. Probably USA or Canadian post, I have the USA zones worked out and postage approximated. It’s hard to pin down Canadas zones and costs so I don’t have theirs. Payment will probably be via paypal then sent in one go to Chessex. Chessex will then send the order to a member in either canada or usa who will then ship it to us in the rest of the world

I would have no trouble making a dice such as you attached in your previous email. Do you have the design in a �?ostraight-on�?� format as opposed to tilted as in the graphic?
As far as the colors are concerned, we are expecting to receive a restock on the Velvet Black with the �?o6�?� face customizable. Did you want the image on the �?o6�?� face of the dice?
We do not, unfortunately, have any of the Translucent colors available for custom work. Did you want to replace the Translucent Smoke color with another color or add the quantity to one of the other colors?
At a quantity of 500+ dice, the price will be $.42 per die plus shipping. Shipping for your order will depend on the shipping location. I will be happy to offer you a shipping quote once I have your shipping address.

So ordering the most is England followed by Canada with USA just beating Australia by 5 and then followed by individual orders
( Locations and spelling have now been checked, better locations added as well as amounts and amounts per country 4/June/2010)
Bear in mind that we have to decide how to send the package ie. either one member getting the whole order and posting onwards or that member posting to a member in each area who then posts internally. And unfortunately postage is still a little unknown just yet as our dice have not been made yet so there is no way to know the weights for them (Weight depends on type of dice).
If the order goes to Time of Madness to onpost (which may happen by default if no one offers to help) then the order will be shipped to Canada before on posting. I’ll ask about multiple shipping addresses but not many places do it so don’t be surprised if we have to onpost it ourselves. We do have a little time on our hands to figure this out as Chessex waits for their new shipment of Valvet Black dice to arrive, but your right I would like this sorted and I’m asking about different ways that we can pay for our order in the next e-mail. We are so close and these two admittedly major things are really the last details we need to workout before this really gets going (ie payments and impending dice order type stuff). So start working out payments etc for some time in the next few weeks as we are pretty far along now (don’t worry I will go though things and ask people, not to mention Chessex itself before anything payment or postage wise is anywhere near offical.) So I suppose it’s a question of watch the top post
And Hashut’s Blessing I’d happly take on board the order but living in Australia prices me out, however if Chessex will do it I can distribute to fellow Aussies and will do with at least one order. Lets face it as you have probably noticed I have alot of time on my hands at the moment…

Well, totalling the dice, the majority are actually in the USA, with a close running of UK inhabitants, so we can try to get them split between the two countries and, if not, either get it sent to someone in the US or to the UK and forward them from there.
Just had a better look and there’s actually loads more in the UK, as some of the ones I thought were in America are in Canada. The question here is: would overall postage be to cheaper to UK than to the US? Since the prices are in dollars, I’d imagine it’s cheaper to the US, nut then it’s more expensive to get them FROM there to the rest of the world…
So, if they can’t deliver to the US AND UK simultaneously, do we want them sent to America or England for on-posting?

As far as shipping goes it is probably going to make sense to have someone in the USA to get the dice (shipping from Chessex should be the cheapest). Then that person would have to ship them all over, which is a ton of work

This may not be as helpful as all that but as I have reciently shipped a CD warmachine to the UK I know for a fact that shipping from QLD, Australia to the UK using registered mail for a package weighing 200g is $24.35. As I’m having one shipped the same way to me i’ll ask for a price from my swap partner to find out the cost of shipping to here. It might not help alot of people but it should help my fellow aussies gauge the prices.

Check it out see if you can make it make more sense.
UK citizens please go into your local post office and harrass them for real information not the strange unfigre-outable tosh on the website! we need international figures with pricing if you have any chance of the order being sent to you!

Hopefully this has been a helpful edit. As the US is at the moment the most helpful that might be what we go with
for those interested here is a currancy converter Exchange Rate US Dollar to Euro (Currency Calculator) - X-Rates or this one http://www.exchangerates.net.au/ please factor in that you will lose at least a few dollars/pounds/euros etc due to the exorbant rates currancy conversion companies charge to be in business. This includes pal pal as well as credit cards they will sting you whatever you use. so factor in paying up to $10 or more depending on your rate, where you are and how much everything is costing you.
I haven’t found out Canada yet but i’ll update this when I do. I believe Chessex postage which will be on our order price will be vheaper in house in the US it’s going to be a very heavy package with all those dice, but Canada is not too much more as they are so close and international Zone 1 in the US
A note for other Aussies my order as expensive as it may be factoring in 45 dice (im going with 2kg, it wont be that) but not factoring Chessex postage yet, will not be more than $80AUS (only about $26 is the cost of the dice I believe, can’t be bothered getting my actual workings out right now, and i’ve added ablmost $20 for exchange rate inconsistances) and I’m literally on the other side of the world and down alot. Thats less than the price of the Hell Cannon. But yeah it’s the postage that stings me

Thanks heaps guys, and I still can’t work out postage rates for anywhere other than the US the package estimator things on the commonwealth websites are so vague unfortunately.
But then again seen as Canada would be the cheapest then it looks like ToM might be handed the batton of the massive post anyway (sorry dude, thems the breaks) Btw I asked about the different countries our order would be going to to find out where it would be cheapest to send or possible to break-up, hence the reply

Again recapping our order is for our design "the Symbol of Hashut " http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r47/Pyro-Stick/runeofhashut1.jpg with the writing HASHUT! in Requiem font (the ! is just a standard ! in any common text) this goes under the symbol’s ^ at the bottom this is to be placed on the “6” face of the ordered dice. We were wondering weather the order can be spilt (based on the info I can give about dice amounts and colours. I will post them next e-mail) and sent to a members in each contienent to then on-post?.. there are only 4 after all? Or weather it should go to just one member and then be on-posted?
(as your company is based in the US I think it is important to say we have orders from both the US and Canada (with a Candadian being our most likely on-poster at the moment, wish I could do it but living in Australia makes that nigh on impossible)). So given that which country would be the cheapest for shipping from your perspective?
Also how would you like your payment? There has been talk amoungst us about paypal being a good option, and if so would you be able to let us pay directly to your company or would you prefur to have it forwarded to you by one member, personally one member forwarding the payments to you sounds the best idea. But we are currently looking for a member who could do that and will continue to look for one while this e-mail is being processed, but right now it is still being worked out.

Pyro I’m not sure exactly which one of the symbols Chessex used in the end. I did send the one you made for me to Chessex (i’d stick that in here too to keep my record for posting very e-mail to Chessex intact but I’m not in my e-mail yet)
From what I know once an order is made subsquent orders are possible but you still have to get to the magic 500die mark to get the cheapest price. Hope that answers the questions for what you’d like to know
