It can only be captured from the Keep when it’s set down or by killing the bearer whilst they have it equipped. In terms of keeping you alive: if you wish to be a Chosen, then you are correct.

ok this isn’t the full story but it’s sort of like the CD are going slaving they brought there O&G with them (i don’t know how chaos fit in to this i thought maybe archaon gave the CD some warriors for helping him in the SoC)the DE want to enslave to,they join (although the alliance could turn any moment) and all three armys go to wreak havoc when they find out about the age of reckoning the old world will never be the same again(nor will ulthuan)

Godbob: good choice. if it helps, my character is likely to be called Vradraur Fethenhurt (if I play Chaos) or one of his son’s (Vlathek Fethenhurt), both of whom had major goings on with Chaos dwarfs (in roleplays with TheVoice), so this can be a helpful way to get Chaos into it. It’s greatly appreciated that you’re attempting the background!
A couple of slight changes (which don’t have to happen), why not have the O&G and allied clan of the CDs? Maybe the Dark Elves are slave-raiding allies, splitting the goods fifty-fifty and the the grenskins trade for Ironbacks and armour etc etc? Chaos has been called upon in payment of hundreds of slaves etc or as an “old friend” type thing. Even if not used, hope they help!
Cryonicleech: why not close it a little sooner, after all, the game opens on the 18th (although I know you need some money in-game to actually make a guild…)?

Well, open Beta opens on the 7th, so I can test the game a little and report back (hopefully). So, 3rd sounds good to me… Well, Cryonicleech: if ya don’t make head, there will be a space for you to be SB if you so wish.

Hey, no promises are necessary. Besides, you wouldn;t have to always carry it. After all, the Guild Head can, as can any one of the standard bearers. I’m not sure if they can all hold one at the same time though…
Also, you can stick it in the ground and if there are keeps involved, stick it in them for uber-bonuses…

Also, The Greenskins could be simple CD slaves, sent to witness the events happening in the world, while the chaos and Dark Elf forces could be mercenaries sent to watch the greenskins and make sure they accomplish their mission. Just another crazy idea though…
