The Warhammer Online site has the promo link to FilePlanet. If you have a beta key you can use the open beta account setup on the Accounts page of the Warhammer site. Once you have entered the beta key, it will direct you to FilePlanet for the download.
BTW, I have an Ironbreaker on Todbringer so far. Was waiting to see what server the CDO was going to be on before starting chaos.

HashutsChosen: we’ll all be on the European server (as you can select that, I assume) and we decided the third one beginning with N, if there are less than 3, the closest to it.
Although, since you’ve said there are two Oceanic and no European, I think Oceanic might be better… Everyone agree?

Can you all see the Oceanic servers? We can’t select Euro servers from the startup unfortunately. I believe the game is zoned, however, I will see if it is possible via other means.
Failing that, if you select a server let us know what it is and we may be able to do a server search and find it.

I did, unfortunately that’s not much help if we can’t see or log in to euro servers. As in WoW, they may be specific to regioning and may not be available to us. Ah well, Guess we will have to see once you get on and compare notes on what servers you can access as opposed to the US clients.

As for server choice, we'll have to wait and see if the oceanic servers will be up. But server choiceI've mucked about with a Chosen, as I did a lot of tanking in other mmo's but this game is a bit different. Tanks are only a necessity on PQ's (public quests) and not so necessary in RVR (realm vs. realm) play which is the majority bias of the game. For RVR I will probably play a priest, but will probably end up playing one of each kind.

My favorite toon so far has to be my Ironbreaker though :P Named after Joergen Bloodaxe. I think from experience in MMO's I'll probably end up playing the majority on an RVR RP realm just to keep down the amount of battlenet kiddies, plus I love to RP and PK, the best of both worlds :)
the play in this game is by far more similar to DAoC (to be expected) than to other MMO's. It is VERY group oriented, and though some things can be solo'd not much reward in solo, but huge rewards in RVR and in PQ, especially if you RVR in a PQ :P.
Things I've learned thus far:
#1 Leveling alone is NO fun, make sure you join groups or have one ready to go.
#2 Do ALL the PQ's!!! Can't stress this enough. This is how you get gear whether it is renown gear or Boss drop gear.
#3 Once you finish your starting zone, DO NOT go on to the next zone of your faction! Go to the flight point and get to the next starting zone of your allies and finish that off! (there is this tricksy little box in the upper right hand corner that has links to all the matchup maps. Click on the next allied matchup and go to their start zone.) This is the fastest way to level. Do all zone 1's first, then all zone 2's etc....
