Now that's a sign, if ever we needed one, that the next installment of the podcast is overdue ;)
I thought the previous ones were great and listened to them all back-to-back when I first joined up and was starting to think they were abandoned. Count me among the crowd led by Kera, eagerly awaiting the next podcast!

I know you’re impatient Kera but the staff have a HELL of a lot of work on. For example, I have to balance my university studies, two jobs, my role on the JCR and th fact that I run charity events every saturday. All the staff have high workloads like this, I won’t even bother to start on all of Willmark’s responsibilities! Finding a time when several of us can come together and make a podcast is very difficult to say the least.
If you guys want to create your own podcast, we’d be happy to host it (providing its suitably chaos dwarfy and doesn’t break any site rules of course). Until then you’ll either have to wait until we can organise something or justbe a little more patient.

While I realize none of us can help them out in their personal/academic/working life, would it help if there were more admins (or new admins) here to take up some slack, or a separate and specific group of CDO members dedicated to preparing a podcast?

A member run podcast would be interesting. Presuming you guys and gals kept it up to the same standard and primarily focused on CD.
We may be able to edit in some starting music etc if it’s needed.
Another thing worth mentioning is that whilst podcasts can talk about any old thing for 10 mins etc, there is not a whole lot of news going on in the CD world at the moment. There will be next year if the rumours are to be believed.
I guess people can talk about non news stuff.

Kera, we’ve said it’s on hold until we can do it. I’m glad you enjoyed it so much. It may be a bit of a wait, but it will come back. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy it just as much then as now.

So I am working out a new format for CDR so that we can more consistently deliver a Podcast.
The New Format:
Running Time: 30 mins
Hosts: Xander + HB + Guest
Discussion:
- Warhammer News (as it related to Chaos Dwarfs) (7.5 mins)
- CDO News (7.5 mins)
- CDR ‘Topic of the Month’ (15 mins)
Topics will be announced at the end of each show allowing for a month of conversation on the topic that everyone can contribute to over the course of the proceeding month. Then on the first Monday of each Month, HB and I will invite on a guest to discuss the topic.
How does that sound to everyone? Does this make sense? Our Topic for December will be something that has already been thoroughly discussed (if you have any ideas as to what that should be, let me know, otherwise I’ll find something).
