Ok, here we had a cloudy day, which means that I haven’t been able to take photos of no Hobbo Khans. However, I want to share with you some more WIPs.
Before summer I found on e-bay 6 OOP Necron Immortals for 50 bucks:
I like their robotic feel! They don’t even look too sci-fi to fit in a fantasy game, especially when mixed with some good ol’ 5th edition Chaos Warrior weapons:
Not all of them will have the same pose. And only this guy will have a shield (maybe another one). To complete the model I will add greenstuff flames, spikes, hooks, chains and maybe a hat on the champion to get a K’daai Fireborn unit!!! Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE Forge World’s models, but I’d love my K’daai to look more like automatons rather than possessed armors.

Nice idea, do not forget… beards! No dwarfish machine would look coool without a fancy beard.

very nice fireborn! they are also a good match with the potential destroyer model, chaos decimator deamon engine.

Bassman: Beards!!! Cool idea! Will try to sculpt them!!!
Da crusha: I toyed with the idea of using that model for a Destroyer, but I reckon that it would look lost on the giant Arachnarok base. I think that (whenever in the far distant future) I’ll make my Destroyer I’ll use the CSM Forgefiend… Because I totally hate the current sculpt from Warhammer Forge!

Imho those hellcannon dwarfs are standing too high on that sandwich bases. Beside that the painting is real cool.
