Edit: Does anyone here know if Gale Force Nine Snow is better than GW Snow or is it just the same? Cause it looks like it might be the same to me but i have never used it so im not sure.

I’ve basecoated mine, but i still have 2 goblin chariots for the tournament an GH 8 entry to paint, so maybe i’ll take an additional couple of days after the deadline to finish the Temple.

I havent been able to get anything done. Ive had a lot of stuff to do, like sorting out a funeral, then attending the funeral etc. Im also under a lot of pressure to find a job in an area where the are literally no jobs for about 10+miles. Also, i still havent been able to sort out this styrfoam cutter ive been trying to get hold. I think the seller is foreign or something cause they dont seem to take in anything i say. I cant start painting it either as i definately wont be able to apint the whole thing with standard pots of gw paint since they are so small and i havent looked into getting a bigger tin mixed up. So the deadline for this will probably have to be extended or just taken away altogether and we will just finish these when we have the time.

Shame but all that GH8 awesomness will have delayed everyones other work but with it over bar the voting i am sure we will find everyone inspired with their other projects;)

I finally got a working hot wire cutter so i started work on the mushrooms today. Tomorrow im going to buy more sandpaper cause i will definately need it. I also painted a bit more and flocked a bit more. I would really like to do snow but the gw stuff is too thin and transparent! I might just have to pva it down and then paint over it with skull white…

Try adding in some salt with your snow for a “Sparkle” effect.

Heres how far ive gotten on the main mushroom. Its going to have two smaller mushrooms to either side. The large piece of foam is going to be stuck on the front so that it isnt so steep and so that the bridge will look better and have less of a rainbow shape:
