With the way the scales are the paint pools on the the tips of each scale and leaves a murky looking mess near the recesses. Now this really shouldn’t be an issue, but apparently I can’t just seem to get it to work right.
Armor is usually way easier than this, but today the stunties have proven otherwise.
I think you’re right. Now all I need to do is strip the paint and redo them. As far as an issue I will be departing overseas here in a bit, and coming back late summer.
Made it back from Japan. Had a good time with work included, now back to being a closet nerd.
So I’ve been finishing up moving into my new house and I should be starting on painting either tonight or tomorrow. My current move is to get my Orange scheme finalized. From there I will be working on my ogres and dwarfs in equal parts.
Alright so I have almost finished the 5 fire glaives. Been doing work preparing 12 BfSP warriors for converting. They’ve recieved a weapon swap and beards already. Well 9 of them.
The FGs are 80% done. I need to base em and I think maybe some tiles would work?
I’ve got to finish the hats, smooth some areas out, do the scales (which I have finally learned how to do right) and wham bam, right in the clam, these will be ready for painting!
Also my other models are almost done being stripped. Had no issue with simple green freeing them from the confines of paint.
Is there any way to improve the photos though? Its kind of hard to see what is going on in some of them. The ones taken a bit further away are a lot clearer, so maybe the camera doesn`t do macro so well?
