Yeeees! Those blunderbussers look suitably convertable!
BTW: That SC, Grimm, looks quite alright. He’ll be a great addition for large shooty units. But his ability concerning warmachines is worse than our Deamonsmiths’ as he has to choose the WM beforehand.
That tech priest will be perfect for Squats in 40k, as will the gyrobomber. :cheers
I prefer the older, lightweight gyros to the new one, but I guess it’ll work for fantasy as well. The main problem is, it looks so advanced (apart from looking ridiculously heavy and stumped at the rotors) that you must assume the Dwarfs win every war and are capable of conquering the whole Old World through air supremacy.
The blurry blunderbuss picture is interesting. The Ironbreaker/blunderbuss kit look quite neat from what can be seen. The guns will fit in equally well with Dwarfs and Chaos Dwarfs.
There is a runesmithy character spotted at the edge of the photograph, clutching a book. There is also some unit behind the blunderbussers. I don’t recognize the banner, but anything else is hard to make out in the picture. What could it be?
The clan fluff page looks particularly good. Is it in the weekly White Dwarf? It’s also a relief to see that the runes will stay!
Shame about the current price levels. I’d have spent quite a lot had the price tags been reasonable, but now I’ll wait for stuff to show up on Ebay in some years’ time.

Oooh, that Underway supplement looks promising. I've always wanted to wage subterranean war with Dwarfs, Gobbos and Skaven. Maybe this is what I've been looking for and tried a few experiments with.
What I'm curious to see is if it is going to be possible to use my Chaos Dwarfs as vanilla Dwarfs with only minor additions. I'd love to get a 2nd playable army out of this if it isn't going to cost me an arm and a leg.
That is precisely what I'll go back to doing (I used to play CDs as Dwarfs back before Tamurkhan). I've actually started doing that with all my armies now, using WoC and LoA units as units in other armies. Very efficient.
I really like the Gyrocopters, very Dwarfy. Not sure how I'll Zharr them up yet.
That gyrobomber is a must have for my “Space Marine” Squat army, with some minor conversions. Could it be a future Land Speeder?

Apart from a proper colour scheme, perhaps a Daemon skull on the front piece, akin to the Hellcannon’s, could do the trick? Also, you could exchange the shields on top of the rotor blades for Chaos stars.
Convert the pilot and add a few trophy heads bedecking the hull, and it should be good to go.
For the advanced level, lightning symbols or frescoes of Tauruses and Lammasus (since they fly) on the hull could also work in your favour to Zharr them up. Drawn Daemonskin between joints like on the Hellcannon could do the job, too.
Do you happen to have any Blunderbussers of your own in the pipeline? Just curious, I can wait.

Yes. I had about a year of no inspiration hobby-wise, but am now back on track. Just trying to work out how many I can fit in a mould and still have different gun options.
I’m really interested in seeing the sprues for the Iron Breakers. I am also curious about the army book as a whole. Could be a lot easier to represent Chaos Dwarfs now. Neat.
