i used to always use wood elves but due to the huge delay in 6th ed WE being released I painted a large High Elf army and Dark Elf army.
I flogged the DE so I’d have to say HE as they are one of my few fully painted armies.
Sojourn:
I would say, in order of preference/reason:
1. Wood elves/autumn colour scheme and the female models are nice
2. Dark elves/black and purple is pretty
3. High elves/they were what was left? not bad though, but yah, like the others better.

I notice Sojourn bases it mostly on colours 
Scared to say that the High Elves don;t match any of her shoes, but she’d somehow aquire new ones to match, even though she ones 6 of every type of shoe… (You forget that your faeries count as Wood Elves, Sojourn :P)
For me, it’s Dark Elves (preferably from the Sundering. Chaos Elves anyone?).
Then Wood Elves (Get orf a moy lahnd! shoots).
High Elves. Poncy, arrogant pr*cks

I play the best with my wood elves, I like painting dark elves the best and I like the high elf fluff the best… that is why I consider myself an elf player as I can’t pick just one.
