vulcanologist:

Very nice!

JonJon:

I like the flame cannon looks good

frostbit3:

Got some work done on the magma cannon.  reworked the barrel a bit, and it needs to get some paint.  The fuel barrels I did kind of a brassy copper, as I can’t imagine them ever using wood, and wanted some contrast.

Jorge:

Did you scratch build the cannon? If not, where did you get it

/envy…

Nicodemus:

Your cannon looks great! Got any WIP photos or some information on the bitz used and how it was assembled? I recognize a few bitz, but not all of them.

Grimbold Blackhammer:

That’s a really great cannon! Nice!!

frostbit3:

Closest thing that exists to a WIP is the photo on the previous page. Eventually (baby coming any second and other things to paint), I’ll get around to making another and will try to remember to post WIP if people are still interested.

Base of the model is the las cannon from the Imperial Bastion terrain piece. I cut off the barrel, and it left a nearly perfect size space for the turret, which is an empire cannon. Underneath the cannon barrel is a cut down citadel paintbrush bristle protector thing. Sockected into that is a weapon handle to look like a wick with a chaos weapon horse hair plume added to look like a pilot light. Two barrels from the empire kit were added to the sides. The ends of the barrels without lids were covered with marauder shields. They are supported by horns removed from the chaos warrior helms I used on my infernal guard. You can’t really see them in the photo. I bought some heavy gauge guitar string to make fuel lines to run into the back of the machine, but am not sure if i’ll use them.

frostbit3:

Bull centaur test model. Thoughts? It needs a beard, but i think it almost works.

Grimbold Blackhammer:

He’s off to a great start! His upper torso is a bit small compared to his lower half but he’s looking good so far.

Grimbold Blackhammer

Red Skullz:

I would recommend an orc torso, it fits a lot better  If you check my sig for the link on my BB team youll see how I made my BC from a marauder horse and blorc body with ogre head. Scalewise its pretty good.

frostbit3:

Took JMR’s idea with the doomwheel and ran with it.  Made myself an iron daemon.  Added a deff roller to make it a skull cracker.  Still need to drill out the barrels of the steam cannonades, but I am happy with how it is turning out.

devlanmud:

That looks fantastic!

Singleton Mosby:

Just love what you guys do with the Doomwheel and seriously consider to get one myself in the near future. The only problem I have with that is the non-excistence of a bit-box to make it into something very cool.

Keep up the good work and keep the pictures comming.

JMR:

Looks nice, frostbit. I actually considered using the deff roller too, but I was afraid it would be too big. Seems like it works fine.

Did you use liquid green-stuff on the wheels? It seems to be green. How did that work out for you?

tjub:

Great conversion, Im not sold on the idea with a monowheel concept though. But Im curious to see how it will turn out once finished!

Da Crusha:

Very cool conversion. Ive been toying with the idea of using a tank, but yours seems great also!

vulcanologist:

Cool concept and very nice execution! Hats off to you and JMR!

Ghrask Dragh:

Very cool, kudos to you both for the ideas, it is very insipiring indeed.

Looking forward to the finished product

silentbob27:

Very Cool! Love kitbashes

Discoking:

I’m loving this conversion!

Where is the roller-bit on the front from?
