I like that your ID is complete :o . Mine arrved with 2 broken chains and a broken step. After waiting for a month to arrive I said screw it and built it. The broken componenets arrive about 3 weeks later! :hat off impatience is a virtue!

Buy a gun, shoot that god damn cat!!

Buy a gun, shoot that god damn cat!!Well, yesterday Tabs the cat (aka Mister Fluffy Paws) came groveling at my feet as you can see...begging for Hashut's forgiveness. Apology accepted :)

The broken componenets arrive about 3 weeks later! :hat off impatience is a virtue!Whoa! My Iron Daemon had the same problems....how weird is that? Broken track chain links (I had to scratch build some new links) and a broken step (which you can see I fixed with some plastic cut to size). The whole steam turbine front kept busting off the chassis, which is why I added a ton of green stuff to reinforce it. All in all not a fun build...I'm curious now if all Iron Daemons come with broken track chains and steps?

Grimbold Blackhammer:
I managed to break at least one of the chains on all three of my Iron Daemons. Fortunately they were’t too hard to glue back into place.
Fuggit Khan:
As I have said before, I like to make no two Chaos Dwarf guys the same, each guy is a bit unique from his mate. The challenge I face is that with my Blunderbusses, probably about 60% of the Blunderbuss guys I own are the same miniature as pictured here. With these guys I added spiky bits, big teeth and green stuff noses to change them up:
But it quickly comes to a point that I don’t have enough creative idea’s to change up the same Big Hat over and over…so I decided to swap their Big Hats with some other Blunderbuss Big Hats:
I understand that taking a hobby saw to the original miniatures will likely upset purists. And rightfully so. But as I strive to make a unique army that keeps the look and feel of the classic Chaos Dwarfs, I hope that people (and Hashut) will appreciate the end result:
Adding to the swapped Big Hat, I also added green stuff Big Nose and sculpted beard in imitation of the Death Rocket gunner:
BABIS:
awesome!!!

mine was similar to yours. The step itself was in 1 piece but the vertical pices were both broken.

Looks good!

Thank you everybody for all the positive comments :hat off
A small update with some work in progress pictures…painting up one of my custom Big Hat sculpts (which will eventually go to a blunderbuss warrior)
And work in progress in painting a standard bearer…base coats are all done and starting with the detail work. I’m a bit undecided for which standard I want to scratch build for him…Lichebone Pennant or Standard of Eternal Flame?
Fuggit Khan:
I first starting playing Warhammer Fantasy in the long long ago of 4th edition. Back then all army lists could take up to 25% of allied troops, and I always without fail took Night Goblins. After all, Night Goblins are short, mean and ill tempered…just like the Chaos Dwarfs. So I got to thinking over the weekend to add a bit of fun and fluff to my army with a bit of a Night Goblin touch. So out came these two guys:
I decided to go with the boss on the left, for the simple reason that his mouth is open wider and will be easier to give him a tongue hanging out in a typical goblin snarl. So I cut away his shield (which required careful cutting to reshape the side of his face) and cut off his arm to change the position later:
Night Goblins are all about wicked fun, so he needed a suitably fun mount if he is going to ride off to war alongside my Hobbo Wolf Raiders…so I give you Porkchop the war pig. There was solid metal casting between the legs that needed a hobby saw and file to remove:
Next I glued Porkchop to a base, added a pin to his back for the Night Goblin rider (who I’ve named Giblet), gave him an earring and added green stuff to clean up the hobby saw cuts:
Now we add the hand from the other Night Gobbo…it gives a nice look of the Gobbo holding on by the scruff of Porkchops neck:
And now Giblet gets to start his adventure alongside his trusty war pig Porkchop :hat off
Yodrin:
Thats an angry pig, and its pink lol. Very cool, nice work so far!!
BABIS:
the pig is so hilorious
even if I don’t like at all the “new” models for the Night Goblins…
I would like to see a nice project for a Lichebon pendant
I was undecided between those two standards and finally I chose to develop the flamy one 8)
furrie:
nice porky and have you been playing overlord lately?
tjub:
Wonderful!

I would like to see a nice project for a Lichebon pendant ;) I was undecided between those two standards and finally I chose to develop the flamy one 8)I have the same dilemma...both are standards that I use all the time. I started making a flaming banner but got sidetracked with the idea of a Lichebone one, but I don't want it to look like a Tomb Kings banner...I think I'll dig through by bitz box and see what I come up with.
BABIS
nice porky and have you been playing overlord lately? Thanks! And overlord? I have not heard of that one...I'm guessing it has angry pigs?
furrie
Wonderful!Thank you very much Tjub :hat off

No, in the game overlord you have minions and one of them is named giblet
Soulassassin:
Awesome idea with the piggy, nicely executed as well. The green stuff of the goblin clinging to the skin of the pig works wonders

Awesome idea with the piggy, nicely executed as well. The green stuff of the goblin clinging to the skin of the pig works wonders :)Thanks, I was originally going to give Porkchop a spiked collar and have the Night Goblin hold onto the collar...but that seemed to practical for a goblin, so I went with him grabbing the skin of the pig instead. Glad you like it
Soulassassin
No, in the game overlord you have minions and one of them is named gibletAh! Well I Googled the overlord game, and it looks fun, so I've ordered one and I'm looking forward to playing it. And for that sir, I have donated a slave to you. :hat off

I really like the rule "no two dwarfs are the same."
It’s pretty hard to achieve while having the old school look.
Super awesome and inspiring.
Always hated big hats - it’s starting to change.
