Twisted Dwarf:

My wip destroyer.

Oh and forgeworld will likely PDF update the rules, but add nothing new and change nothing outside of bringing the book inline with 9th. Sadly Warhammer forge was a failed experiment with us as collateral damage.

TheHoodedMan:

OT: Great destroyer :-), work on the flames looks good. Why not create an army blog :-)?

Got me a infernal golem, too. But I will leave it probably as it is even if your subtle conversion made me think of that again ;-).

ha! and he needs to keep his guitar!!!!! now i want this guy

Bitterman:

But when 9th edition comes out - they simple have to update the rules. It would be a rather simple FAQ.

Bloodbeard
Well, that depends. If 9th Ed isn't a very big change, then yeah, sure, it's a simple FAQ.

Everything I hear tells me that 9th is going to be a very big change indeed. Big enough that even the current main-line army books will be invalidated, thrown out and started again. If that's the case, our poor neglected non-main-line army list, in a book that probably won't even be on sale by then... well, it might be a lot more than "a rather simple FAQ", and then your guess is as good as mine whether they bother doing it or not.

tenebre:

all the so called rumors about 9th are nothing more than people making stuff up. like most of the internet. Why on earth would you expect such a massive change? They have never had that much of a change between editions. I mean really each supplement let to the next edition (like the Magic box set) but progressive the changes were not too dramatic.

rumors more than a month prior about GW from my experience are 90% fabrication. anyone with GW ties that actually KNOWS has signed an NDA and isnt going to tell anything.

cornixt:

Worst that is going to happen is that the fluff in the books is no longer correct. I don’t think they’d ever do anything along the lines of the 6th edition wipeout again.

Because I heard it from someone who works in the GW design studio?

No, no, never mind. You obviously know better.

Grimstonefire:

Considering FW used to pdf experimental rules all the time, it wouldn’t take much at all for them to pdf the LoA rules.

Bitterman
if you are going to try to be snarky leave in the entire statement.
And EVERYONE has "heard" it from someone who works in the GW design studio. NDA on actual information so no reason to get everyone panties in a bunch.

Doombeard:

I think its called End Times for a reason, I just hope thats not the case.

Doombeard:

Tamurkhan is back up to 46.50 now

TheHoodedMan:

Ok…

Rest of the CD models are slightly increased in price also. 38 GBP for infernal guards for exampel (before 37).

Honeym123:

Hahaha, maybe all the “Panic Buying” have made them reconsider shutting it down - "Oh sweet baby Jesus, Have you seen this, Tom? Our Chaos dwarf range is selling like crazy! - “Wauw!, You right, Brian! Turn up the prices and start casting!”

hypnotix:

My first thought was: “guys lets get back to old price to stop rumors about canceling CHD, otherwise we won’t sell other models we got left!”

AGPO:

Tbh a root and branch re-write would probably work in our favour. I remember when White Wolf did a complete re-launch of World of Darkness post apocalypse most of thew community said “thanks but no thanks” and kept playing the older versions. Players simply weren’t willing to rebuy dozens of books and supplements which they already had a large collection of simply because the company declared they were out of date. I think you’ll find a lot off people sticking with 8th ed, and in that case questions about fringe lists like ours will become much more a matter of discretion.

Sticklander:

If they do drop Chaos Dwarfs, I need a good job soon, or else I’ll be having to get the last few items I’d like from ebay, at extortionist prices! :frowning:
