Lundi:

Thanks for the quick reply.

Most of the models are unpainted, and those that aren’t range from “barely started” to “passable” - nothing pro-painted to be found in this lot.

And it’s quite a big lot - it’s easily over a hundred metal models. Another question - would I be better off selling it all in one lump, or try to break it up into smaller groups, like single regiments and such?

Rock Bottum:

I just bought a Hobgoblin Hero on a wolf for a nice $5.5

Also got some nice wolfriders and bsp dwarfs/gobs

All i have to do is start building now

cricketofdeth:

Yeah, I just paid about $6 ea. for 8 BB, and 16 warriors. The horrible thing is I also just bought a hobgo bolt thrower for $5o. Ugh…

Pyro Stick:

.....$50?!? Get a refund. Now.

cricketofdeth:

yeah, it’s way too much, but I haven’t seen on for sale complete before. I really don’t know what I was thinking buying that one…

cricketofdeth
Ive seen bolt throwers go for 0.99p before (was going to bid but got distracted :() so i would def get a refund. Did you buy it off of an ebay shop? Around here its a well known fact that all ebay shops selling chaos dwarfs are as big a rip off as you can imagine and they should be avoided at all costs.

Crube:

I may have missed this through the thread, but anyone know what a reasonable price for the CD army book is. There’s one going for nearly £20 including P & P at the moment… Here

Crube
That auction includes the ravening hordes book as well so it usually doesnt go that high unless someone really wants it.I would say a reasonable price is £12 or maybe less.

Crube:

Thanks - It went for £23.22 plus postage…

Canix:

Hmm a hobgoblin bt and crew just went for £8 inc postage .Cheapest i have seen one go for :o

Pyro Stick:

Crube
That was a good example of someone wanting the book badly. The banners had even been cut out of the back of the book so it was def not worth that much. Ravening HOrdes is only worth abotu £2 as well.

Crube:

Yeah, I;m watching a couple of those at the moment (my copy of this and CD army book have mysteriously disappeared :() All are sat at 99p with no bids, and postage at about £1…

Pyro Stick:

the black dwarf:

the black dwarf
Yeah i know they are going for more than that but i couldnt find one for sale atm or in the completed listings so i was just going to update that next time one was up.

Allanp:

just picked up a chaos dwarf hero bighat #2 (sorry am new and terrible at pointing out the exact model so this is my best guess) for £7.50 including postage. is this a reasonable price?

also was looking through other auctions and found the same mini minus the banner poles on his back for £24.99!!!

truly disgraceful what some people will do. but also wanted to say how extremely useful this thread has been :hat off

Pyro Stick:

That was a good buy if it had its banner poles.

Allanp:

it did thanks pyro :).

Bolg:

OK, I bought a few models last month on ebay, But I kinda spend to much so I’m thinking of maybe selling some of the models I just bought and only keep half. (not decided yet).

So does anyone know if the chaos dwarf zombie ninja is worth something (how much)?

The price of that model fluctuates quite a bit. Most of the time it goes for 0.99p-£2 but other times people bid way too high and it can get up to £8+. Ive been trying to get hold of one for ages but whenever i actually remember to look for one it always goes for way more than i want to spend. I would pay a max of probably £4 for it.
