Or in CD terms: taskmaster and slave? To remain PC (and thus unmoderated) I'll leave everyone to figure out which should be which.
GRNDL
Wipe your boots before you get back into the ziggurat! Why can't you be more like Lurgal Stonebreaker? He's managed to capture over 100 new slaves in this last month and he got a promotion. I need a new hat, the old one isn't tall enough this year. Little Gath got into trouble at school yesterday for not bullying the hobgoblins enough, you need to go see the teacher the day after tommorrow to discuss the issue. We're having your favourite tonight - goat braised in beer. Oh, and Morag dropped by to say that he'll be expecting you after dinner for your weekly lodge meeting, apparently ..."
Alright, let’s eliminate the options we’ve already covered:
1: Skull Pass Dwarf
2: Rykarth the Unbreakable
3: Hobgoblin Hero
4: Rank of Slaves
5: Standard Bearer
6: Mordheim Gaoler
7: Duel
8: War Machine
9: Bull Centaur
So, ideas:
Model and paint a Chaos Dwarf Sorcerer-Priest - he may not be mounted on a Lammasu or Great Taurus (that dude’s for a later competition!). Palanquins and mechanical legs are fair game.
Model and paint a full rank of Chaos Dwarf Warriors, bearing any appropriate equipment.
Model and paint a full rank of Blunderbussiers, bearing any appropriate equipment.
Model and paint a Terrain Piece appropriate to the Darklands; this could range from a lava pool, to a ruined temple, to a shrine, to a slave pit, to a bonefield to a forge to a daemonrock.
Model and paint a Monster appropriate to the Chaos Dwarfs; this could range from a Lammasu to a Taurus to a Slave Giant to a Kolossus to an Iron Golem to an Ironskin Ogre.
A sudden thought, albeit one that’s probably better suited to Golden Hat 11 - given that there’s a new wave of releases coming out for them, why not do a painting competition for a model from the Moscal Dwarfs of Chaos range?
