Aaarrrrgghhh! completely tied up with work, have so much still left to do! Let me see, have to think up a plan, act out the plan, paint the plan, re think the plan, re-paint the plan, go back to original plan. Is 6 days too short? hmm, I feel a bit of turbo sculpting coming on!

When is the deadline for the competition? Is it 12 midnight on the 30th, or 12 midnight of the 31st?
I kinda have to know as a large chunk of my weekend is taken up with family stuff (Dad’s birthday) and will have to plan ahead of time if I’m going to get my entry done in time.

And I got my entry in early too, once it was done i repainted one large chunk and kept rethinking things so i just submitted so i wouldnt go crazy redoing everything!
And yes I have a weird feeling about voting (as stated above that they will be spread out widely amoung the abundance of talent), it would almost be nice to be able to cast 3 different votes or something, each assigned a pts value... but I suppose thats complex...

i think this time round im going to vote not on whose is the best per se, but by who has surpassed their last entry by the most, so if for example ishkurs entry is better than hashuts blessing’s entry, but ishkurs is the same quality as his last one, and hashuts blessing has improved tenfold, i will probably vote for hashuts blessing. that being said entrants arent named so i wont know and will just have to vote for the best lol.
what i imagine will happen is that a lot of people who werent brilliant are getting better, and those that were already fantastic are now only improving at a lower rate, so the field should be more even, and by the time golden hat 10 comes around everyone will be painting at a pro standard
