Sorry it took so long for yet another update, but sickness and school took their toll…fortunately the long weekend allowed me to finish things up!
9 more Warriors of Gorgoth complete! They can be annoying at times to paint…but having them done is SOOO satisfying! Now all I have left to do is my BSB…Ammrik Gunrock…

as I said, long weekends are awesome! got all the painting I need done…though I did learn I must work on my freehand painting (I know the Banners are awful…but there done! finally!)
So my 1125pt list is now fully painted and ready for the doubles tournament! Yes! Now I can take a painting break and relax…untill I feel the need to paint more Warriors of Gorgoth :hat

Well now that im done painting I thought I’d give an army shot of what im taking to the tournament. I also made a display board (very quickly I might add) but here they all are.
as its a doubles tournament, my partners army will take up the open space. (a much smaller and more Elite Dark Elf force)

I went to the Arena Doubles tournament here in Montreal.

They have a special award “Best Theme” to give to those who like the fluff more so then the power gaming, and I won! Which is awesome as I lost every single game…:( Sorry CD players I tried! But when every army is a combination Vampire/Dark Elves, Vampires/Demons, Demons/Dark Elves, Demons/Demons…its hard to compete with a 6th edition PDF :(. BUT! I won the award I wanted. I’ll post the fluff I wrote for both my and my partners army.
So now that the crazyness of a tournament is done. Its time for me to paint casual! Next up, 10 Black Orcs! Stay tuned!

congrats on the award Ammrik you must be well happy no need to apologies those armies that you faced are hard combinations and from what i have heard they are the main armies used at all the tournaments, looking forward to reading you back ground fluff for the armies
