D&D (not this 3rd and 3.5 crap) is a great game. I DM once a week and get to play in Castles & Crusades every other week.

I just wish Forge World were cheaper. I really want the deamonhunter Grey Knight and the deamonhunter doors for the rhino. But they are too expensive. In the main Forgeworld is largely for the dedicated collector with a small collection all painted as close as they can to golden daemon standard. One of the things I think its moving away from incidentally

back in 1996 I was hooked on magic tg, the tourneys brought me in contact with our glorious hobby :o my first army were brets, they were in the starting set together with lizzies, later that year I started an undead army, oh yeah no sissie VC-TK division at the time (remember nagash)… I have been hooked ever since
Cotter:
I started this whole thing in 1997, while working in a Comic book and Roleplaying store after school. Since then, ive been through quite a lot of armies (40K-SM, Dwarves, 40K-CSMTzeench, 40K-BloodAngels, Skaven, Empire, 40K-Tyranids, 40K-KultofSpeed, Slaanesh-Chariot-Army, Goblins, VampireCounts, and now Chaos Dwarfes and undead-Bretonians)…
oh lord. Thats a lot…
BTW: does anyone need some Tyranids in a really uncommon color scheme? This Striking-Skorpion Green washed with sunburst yellow accompanied by blazing orange armour plates and some lich purple nurgle infestation really hurts the eyes… But the conversions are funny. Ever seen a mixture between a Great Unclean One and a Carnifex? What about two of them? g (You can actually swap body pieces between those two, makes some really funny conversions…)
This_Is_My_Boomstick!!:
1989, 3rd edition rulebook and heroquest, loved the warhammer background with the huge amount of races in it
D’dos Croizii:
Stumbled into it when playing DnD a few times (ages ago), one of the guys from the DnD group played it and afterwards got really interested into but only recently bought models (before it was mostly lore, or the DnD style Warhammer)
