[Archive] Jake and the Chaos Dwarfs

Jake:

Thanks.

And no, not GothCon, but Gates of Westridge, Västerås. Last weekend.

ClawLeader:

Awesome work all around, very well done and another reason for me to get better at conversions

Yodrin:

Very nice army!!! Great work!!!

BABIS:

3 iron deamons?? a lot of fun I suppose

Jake:

Yeah, it was a lot of fun, actually. Maybe a bit frustrating for my opponents seeing three Iron Daemons coming at them, but I also believe it turned out to be at least as rewarding and unusual a challenge for them to handle it, as it was for me trying to not get stuck in an unfavourable position - which they do quite easily.

Abecedar:

Not my game, but below is an awesome game I watched for a bit. A lot of dragons (3), Phoenix(3) and Eagles (2)flying around:

Jake
All the figures I've seen / can see look great but the table looks small? Looks like only 3 foot across not 4'\ foot

Jake:

I believe it is a fairly standard size table - i.e. 6x4’ - although it might lack an inch or so in depth (as our deployment usually have to be 11,5" in, not 12.)

Jake:

So Im lending my army to a friend (for a tournament I can’t go to, sadly). Anyway, he wanted a Bale Taurus, which I didn’t have. The reason being I haven’t found one that fits my semi mech-theme ( or really, I do think that I have an idea, but it is a bit in the future…) So, I had a couple of weeks to find something to use, and paint it and all. And, well, I found this:

Crappy pictures, but maybe you get somewhat how it looks. It’s the clockwork dragon from Reaper Miniatures, their Bones-range. (Weird material that. )

The pictures is taken after a test game where I played my friends Daemons against my Chaos Dwarfs. Tight game, ended in a draw.

Hope you like it. It’s growing on me, but I don’t know if I like it enough to not try something else later on.

Yodrin:

I think it looks awesome!!!
