Thanks. Really pleased with it, with the running pose and all, but I’m still thinking of maybe add some more armour and/or exhausts. And, of course, do something with the base. Most likely lot of skulls and bones and stuff.
Tjub:
Yeah, I have done some here and there, mostly do try and blend it all together more.
Sherlocko:
Not sure yet if I’m bringing the Destroyer or not. But if I do, I hope you are the only one that’ll bring it down.
Tjena! This looks cool, a very different feel to the army. Nevertheless very industrial and chaotic. Good luck with the army, tell us how you did :cheers
Small update-time, and the beginning of the war machine park, with two shriekers and two magmas:
Back from the weeekends 5 game-tournament, with 30 players. It was great to finally getting to play my chaos dwarfs with a full 2500-list. The result weren’t so great though, gaming wise. Three losses, one draw and one win. To add insult to injury one of the losses were against Sherlockos Chaos Dwarfs (Red Skin, White Ice, Black metal)… But the great thing is that my Destroyer slaughtered his Destroyer, and also managed more kills over the whole tournament than his. So, whatever the end result, I regard the weekend as a victory.
Also, I won Best Sportsman, which I am very pleased with.
Yodrin: yeah, the fight was great, and my guy came out on top after a few rounds. But mostly because I managed to get a charge in the flank, which won the the first round with 2. After that it took some time to finish it off… Also, directly after the combat was won, my Destroyer burnt out and died. And I lost the game overall. But it was all worth it!
Yawarakaimatsuka: The head comes from the Maelstr…Mierce Miniatures Banebeasts range. It’s the head of the Giant Mjalnir.
Great looking army. I noticed your deathshrieker rockets, where are they from? also I the head of your destroyer looks familiar but I can’t quite put my finger on it.
Not the best photo, I know, bit this is my 2500p army I took to the largest Warhammer Fantasy tournament in Sweden to date - almost 120 players.
Sorcerer-prophet, lvl4 metal, with preservation, Enchanted Shield and dispel scroll.
2 Hobgoblin Khans on wolves, one with Warrior Bane.
28 Infernal Guards, FCC, Gleaming Penant.
2x21 Hobgoblins with bows, one with FC and the other lacking a musician.
3 Iron Daemons
Destroyer
Hellcannon
It didn’t go so well, though. Was hoping I would met a lot of the monsters and monsterous infantry/cavalry - it was quite a lot of them about - but I managed to dodge those lists in three of five games. And in the one game where I had a lot if targets - double terrorgheist and vargheist list - my dice (and talent) betrayed me, failing to wound most of the times with my Hellcannon and Iron Daemons shooting.
Ended up in place 63, with 49bp, after two big wins, two big losses, and a draw. Swedish comp was used, and the difference in comp score between armies meant my opponents in every game but one had 600p up on me at the start, which proved to hard for me and my meager talent to compensate for. Oh well, it was great fun, at least, and I really liked my list.
This is my Destroyer flanking Settra, and getting help from an Iron Daemon in the front - who in turn got flanked by a Bonegiant.
Not my game, but below is an awesome game I watched for a bit. A lot of dragons (3), Phoenix(3) and Eagles (2)flying around:
