Hey

Aos28 is a "aesthetic" project about AOS , the idea is to bring some grimdark into aos , Laurence Blanche was some kind of god-father for a similar project for 40k called inq28 ( a mixture of inquisitor , necromunda, and 40 k ) and the idea is the same with aos . a lot of old school player love the idea of a grimdark and are trying to put their old school inspirations and creativity into aos . and the project is growing and growing .so the basic idea is to create a warband for aos , 8 character max and to build a real background around this warband .

you can find more information about the project here

and take a look at the gallery , its absolutely amazing , here a few pictures of the gallery :

tjub:

Ah, looks interesting! Thanks.

Helblindi:

Well, I’m sold! Got very much into Blanchitsu over the summer, but didn’t want to start 40k, so AOS28 sounds awesome!

A bunch of "darker" Dawi Zharr warbands would be really cool. I have an idea as well... :hat off

i must admit when i discover this i was excited as a kid. there is a creativity bubble around aos lately , the fans are taking the fluff in their own hands and using old school references . GW even seems to " endorse " a part of it , there even was a giant Inq28 display of Blanchitsu and fans , " the pylgrim " at Warhammer world with some converted miniatures from other compagny Inside , we haven't seen that since the 80's ..........

Grimbold Blackhammer:

That undead-in-the-forest army is pretty damn impressive!

Ghrask Dragh:

Love the forest themed band! These are spawned from John Blanche artwork are they? I must say I have really mixed feelings for Blanche I tend not to like the Artwork at all but love minis that are inspired by them

Looking foward the seeing your AoS28

Helblindi:

Yes, same here. His art does nothing for me, but I’ve been reading the Pilgrym articles in White Dwarf with great excitement.

Timothy Archer:

Hello .

i have finally my first character for my AOS28 warband . Let me introduce you to Lord Kaaros aka the ( insane ) flying Baron . leader of the tech-scavenger a Deadly and very discreet group in charge of the technological avant garde  . The baron lives for the K’daai and he will try everything to put his hand on every piece of technology , artefacts , human beings , toasters and monsters if they have some kind of magical power…

Carcearion:

Haha! Another incredibly fun miniature!

As always I love the exstensive kit bashing, also I think your sculpting skills have really improved! His entire face, beard, and belly - everything you sculpted on him really looks great!

:cheers

tjub:

Looks ace! Really cool miniature…

Ghrask Dragh:

Very very cool, I like that one alot, looking forward to seeing the rest :hat off

Admiral:

He turned very good! Solid conversion work and good chain sculpting, and painting!

Timothy Archer:

thanks for the kind words guy ! im have more time lately to paint and make things im having a very good time .

and i almost forgot to post my iron daemon

…i know he is pretty simple , almost “vanilla” but butchering a very expensive FW model is Something i just can’t do :P:P

i don’t have the strengh …mouhaha

but they will be plenty of occasion to take a revenge on another models in the future

Ghrask Dragh:

That’s a great addition at the back, I know what you mean with the Forgeworld stuff

Pappa Midnight:

I love the flying baron and Iron Daemon. Excellent additions to your collection.

PM

Timothy Archer:

hello

i have finally painted this miniature . one of the nicest surprise lately . its the Raging heroes manticore with shedu head ( not available anymore due to GW request …you can read that on their website ) . Anyway the model is brilliant , you need to have it in your hands to realize how dynamic and sharp he looks . i would relly like to know the name of the sculptor tho

still the vanilla model , but you are going to see more of vanilla things from me , its time for me to start to paint all the models i was collecting in parallel of converting new things .
