Definitely a nice one. Details of the face are worked out very well and good work at the base. Difficult to play with such, but I assume that`s not the main purpose ;-).

Ravenswood:
I ask Picster to paint “fire” version of “Frozen Heart”
TheHoodedMan:
You gave him a worthy challenge and he met it very well. The works from the “massive voodoo” team are great, I take a regularly look on their homepage.
Zanko:
Awesome work dude! :hat off![]()

Admiral:
Picster did an even better job than on his frosty Dwarf.
Ravenswood:
I also paint some hobs time to time. It is my relax and experiments field. Actually I painted this hobs about two weeks ago and just have no time to get the photos
Do you see difference between their faces? I use standart “green without green” scheme for left one and try new scale 75 greens box on the right one.
Admiral:
Yes, I spot the difference. The units will look all the better from the variation. They’re gorgeously painted, not least the cloth. You’ve even painted the fine threads, something I’ve always wanted to be able to both paint and sculpt. You’re living the dream, Ravenswood!
TheHoodedMan:
Both are great painted, very inspiring, thank you for that.
If you didn´t mentioned it I wouldn`t have recognized you used different methods for the skin, honestly.
edit: The edges of the right one come out a little bit sharper from my point of view, I like that a little better.

Red Skullz:
I find nuances in the skin coloration to enhance the realism and makes it more interesting to look at.
Yodrin:
Really great looking minis, and a fantastic pain job as always. Top right is my fave if I were to choose…
Fuggit Khan:
:o
Words fail me. I simply can’t say enough praise for your painting talents. Although I can say it does make this old Hobgoblin happy to see such beautifully painted Hobbo’s :cheers
And how in the world did you paint the linen patterns?
Ravenswood:
@Fuggit Khan, Thank you!
About cloth texture: it is just thin crossed lines, nothing special.
Mivrash Faz:
@Fuggit Khan, Thank you!Nothing special? The subtlety in your work is amazing. Really like how you portrayed your hobbygobbies. They have that dingyness to them the way I imagine hobgoblins looking. Really great job.

Ravenswood:
Yep, it’s nothing special. It’s want some skill but it is easier (and faster) than do smooth blending.
DAGabriel:
Missed a lot in one year but you manage to astonish me!
Ravenswood:
@DAGabriel, I hope you still like what I do)
