Metal Rules

wallacer:

Is Gary Morley the guy who designed the TK Bone Giants?

angryboy2k:

Unfortunately, I have no idea.

AGPO:

Yes but the point is that many people dislike the minis he produces and resent being asked to pay through the nose for something that isn’t all that great. I’m sure he’s a great bloke and certainly wouldn’t attack him personally, but I’m glad he’s gone because maybe we’ll get some decent minis now. You must admit its a bt of a travesty that there are amateurs like Grimstonefire out there yet there are far less talented people getting payed to produce poor, overpriced minis for GW

angryboy2k:

This is really a complaint aimed at GW though. They are the ones at fault for charging so much and for letting some of Gary’s sculpts get manufactured when they might have needed something doing to them or even replacing. As I said, they gave those guys two weeks to work on the Dark Eldar line, so the company obviously didn’t care too much about the final product.

As for Grimstonefire, I doubt very much that he’d want to work for GW, but the best part about the internet is that he doesn’t have to. As soon as he’s ready to produce sculpts commercially there are going to be people lining up to buy them.

Because Grim’s sculpts are made of pure win. :cheers

Willmark:

Grim’s minis absolutely kick major a@@ out of anything GW can or has produced, his frigging CD lord in nothing short of jaw dropping.

Kera foehunter:

All grims need is paper clips and green stuff and he can make anything. his white dwarf figure is soooooooooo coool.
