How do you paint your lava effect?

Thanks to everyone.
The lava effect on the big lava guy has been painted by airbrush so far… soon i’ll start with the details by brush.
anyway I started from white primere, than badmoon yellow…
than i used a mixture of blazing orange and an acrilic fluorescent orange (that is what is giving the blazing effect)
after that i started to tone the blaze a little bit vith red, brown and black.

The model of the Destroyer ist very nice, but the painting is just awesome. By seeing it from the back, I wondered, if you had put a light in it to illuminate it from within - so good is the effect.

Great conversion! and the slick paint job finishes it of very nicely. great model; comical, goes well with the 4rd ed models but not so much you cant really take it serious anymore.
