Brown or black would be best imo, or even a tan flesh colour. I personally would not want the wing membrane to be the focal point of the model.

I agree, I too like the black or brown and I think the other colors would detract from the rest of the miniature and draw your eyes elswhere… Great work though, and I really like the Black Orcs!

Meanwhile I present you with the finished wyvern. I opted for the brown/red colour for the wings, and I think I made the right choice (in my mind at least). I also painted some more black orcs, with a try on check patterns on the armour.

I painted 20 night goblins with spears and shields. They are BfSP goblins, with no conversion or whatsoever. I painted them in one batch and it took me some time but I'm glad I finished them and my painted models count is rising up.
