Well I ended up getting to warhammer fest, aswell as picking up shitor I had a chat with the design team. I asked them about why shitor had cow fingers over human hands like the other bull centaurs. Was told it was partly due to a slight re design to the race. After hearing this I said “but we have the full range out don’t we?”. The designer sort of laughed and said "soon soon"
Shar’tors aesthetic is very different than the current Legion of Azgorh. I guess I will have to splurge on some bull centaurs as well. I really like their current appearance. I hope this change is limited to just the Bull Centaurs.

Seconded. Although, judging by the latest Daemonsmith incarnation, "regular" Chaos Dwarfs will look the way they always did; with mustache, scale armor, and tall hats.
New setting, new Chaos Dwarfs. There were always going to be changes if they were planning to develop the range - which, to be fair, I was 99% certain would never happen until reading this!

They will never create something that is even half as good as your background, of this I am sure ;). To me the bits you wrote about Zhargon, the Black Orc rebellion, and the slow, but steady Chaos Dwarf expansions, are the best snippets of CD related background I ever read :hat off
There is no drastic redesign of CD anatomy apparent in the new Daemonsmith, so any stylistic changes in the new range will be business as usual for the Chaos Dwarfs, who have enjoyed a wealth of very different styles through the years.
Now that is particularly welcome news. Previously, FW had chosen not to put out Hobgoblins because IIRC the cost for a horde of resin Hobgobbos would be astronomical. A missed opportunity in my opinion, given the silly prices OOP Hobgoblins go for on Ebay, but perhaps the new variant of Hobbos could rectify this miss? Many Chaos Dwarf collectors are not known for taking the cheap route but will pay for quality. Looking forward to see the green bastards.
