Hehe, the officer of the fleet is quite cool, very reminiscent of some John Blanche drawings. I like the new, very wild style of the ratlings. They’re not supposed to look like the nice halflings they were in their earlier incarnations after all.
And I though they scaled down the arms of the Catachans? Can’t see any improvent there! :o

Thank the Emperor I have a Guard army sitting unpainted. I bought a ton of those pewter Vostroyans. I just might get some Ratlings to fill things up as I like the figures, and I love snipers.

I just might get some Ratlings to fill things up as I like the figures, and I love snipers.Swiss one guy in our gaming group has a painted army of Vostroyans (or let's say most of them are painted) - these are extremely nifty models. GW never made any better guardsmen than these. So if you already own them paint them! :)

The new codex and models are tempting - I might even dust off the WW1 inspired models I converted several years ago. I’m finding it very hard to concentrate on the armies I have with all the cool stuff coming out. First Orks, then Lizards, now Imperial Guard… Oi vey!! Must… concentrate…

I’m probably going to be building my IG army using third parties and lot of tanks, so I’m not terribly worried about the price raise for guard infantry.
My plan is to use Trenchcoat bodies from Troll Forged, arms from Warstore, and heads from Pig Iron, and West Wind Productions

I love the heads, i am a massive fan of the Death Korps of Krieg variant. I have been thinking of starting an Imperial army but my Daemonhunters/Chaos Dwarfs/Druchii have been slowing me somewhat. Good find.
Also, from what i managed to get out of the staff at my local Games Workshop, they have got a serious overhaul, with a great rule for tanks or large monsters. Also one for the death of an ogryn. Really looking forward to this release

So I play Chaos Dwarfs and my new army looks very Steampunk…
I’m doing Horde Skaven converted so the Clanrats look like they’re Clan Skryre to avoid SAD (so still Steampunk)…
My first army was Empire (could argue to be Steampunk)
and I play Vostroyans (apparently also Steampunk)
I might be crazy… but I sense a trend going on here…

Is it just a straight 10 cadians for £12 or are they bundling anything in with them? Cos thats a hell of a price increase.
