Admiral:
A crossbreed between Terminator and Dreadnought? Those remind me of Starcraft II Marauders and Firebats. Those grinders are nice, whatever one think of the rest of the miniatures. Also, the Vanguard and AA Rhino looked fine.
tjub:
Hahaha, they have to be Squat made!
Skink:
That pic surprised me twice.
1) They managed to do something uglier than the upcoming Destroyer.
2) …Are they REALLY going to release those for the SPACE MARINES army??? I mean, “Space Marines” aka the most selling range of miniatures in the known universe. Ugh.
Hey not that I complain, I like CDs and Lizardmen. Lizzies just received a wealth of wonderful models, and Forgeworld’s CDs are fantastic (aside from the aforementioned Destroyer).
GeofreyShank:
Hahahahahaha…
I can’t even look.
Hilarious.
It’s like toddler marines, I can imagine them tumbling over each other comically. alternatively falling on their backs and being unable to get up, with their big stompy booties flailing in the air.
That is just awful design. It seems like something from a much earlier edition.
Forgefire:
wow… i wonder who designs these models. I really dont like anything gw has been making recently like those enormous plastic things for eldar and tau.
Admiral:
Give them bigger helmets and you’ll have Ogryns in power armour.
snowblizz:
Bwahahahahahahahahhaaaa…snort cough No seriously, they are making tho… bwahahahahahahaha
Blue in VT:
Terrible…
…just…terrible.

Nicodemus:
Avert you eyes children!! Truly awful. I saw some folks on the fourms at BoLS getting excited for these. Why? One head shot would finish these guys. I know that isn’t how 40K works and that it’s future fantasy… But STILL, one needs to suspend some disbelief. This is only marginally better tan the Sisters of Battle Penitent Engine, of what ever it’s called.

Someone tell me that’s a joke!
Those marines need to lay off the McDonalds - in fact they look like a happymeal toy.
gIL^:
awful awful!
Whats with the bore Drills?
Fuggit Khan:
I imagine Eric Cartman of South Park inside them, yelling “Beefcake!”
…what’s even more awful is that they’ll be GW expensive
NoisyAssassin:
…da hell is GW smoking these days?
Blue in VT:
...da hell is GW smoking these days?I don't know....but I gotta get some of that! ;P
NoisyAssassin
:hat off

I imagine Eric Cartman of South Park inside them, yelling "Beefcake!"Realistically i say £50
...what's even more awful is that they'll be GW expensive

Blackspine:
the knees bend, but these guys would be shuffling so slowly.
Odd, the contrast of quality between these and the new lizard men sculpts is huge.
They’re not poorly made, just horribly designed. It’s space. comon guys, you can break that 4th wall.
I’m still laughing about the “DUFFMAN” with his 4 pack of blood.(lord of skulls)
*edit: tipping these guys over would be hilarious. No way they’re getting back up.
Thommy H:
Yeah, I think the basic concept is flawed from the beginning.
1) The forces available to a Space Marine Chapter have always been quite strictly proscribed. The Stormraven and Stormtalon could be sneaked in on the basis that their fleet assets have always been kept vague, and little extras like Rhino variants, different classifications of Veteran and support weapons don’t rock the boat enough to cause a problem. But where do these guys fit in to the Chapter’s organisation? A completely new infantry unit is quite a big deal in the background.
2) These guys are supposed to sit between Terminator armour and Dreadnoughts. But the whole idea of a Dreadnought is that the suit is simply too big for a living Space Marine to operate. It isn’t physically possible to control a machine so powerful without hard-wiring the pilot in, so they only use mortally wounded warriors. If you can edge up to that power level with an ordinary suit, it just becomes pointless to put nearly-dead guys in these things. They rob the Dreadnought concept of its power just by existing.
3) They look like crap.
bas_2312:
I don’t think they look THAT bad… but I don’t play 40k so I really don’t care what they do with the models…
I’ll just leave this:
Grimstonefire:
I’m struggling to think what doesn’t need to be changed on these… The bases look ok I guess.
Be easier to just stick a space marine head on pretty much any of the warmachine models and it would look a lot better.
