They look great, style and proportions the way they should be... but they're huge. If your opponent weren't going after them before, they will now, just on looks.Yep, great fear factor! As the destroyer eats there flank

KramDratta:
FYI, I ask Forgeworld when the models would be available to purchase from their website.
Time to start saving for another big order.

Hi there.
We don’t have a release date as yet for them but we are hoping for some time within the next three months.
Ugly Green Trog:
I just really hope they come with the other weapon options as the hw+sh combo just doesnt do it for me, I’d much rather have great weapons with em. plus the HW would make good character GW for conversions too!
thrawn:
looking at them more. love them. questions.
do you think they’ll make them double handed weapons too?
will their be a command option?
KramDratta:
Anyone know how to get in touch with Neil Peckett ??
brotsorrow:
Love these models! I am glad they went big, but as many of you stated, i`m hoping for a stat line change
These look great. Can’t wait for them to be released. I ran a unit of 5 with Taur’ruk using HW/Shield at the SAWS Challenge and just this past weekend at the Quake City Rumble ran a unit of 6 with GW. While a bit more expensive, dropping the shields for the GWs definitely made them perform much better. Hopefully these will be sold with some weapon options, otherwise, I’ll have to come up with a way fit some GW’s onto these guys.Agreed! But has FW released something with a couple weapon options? Especially so much in 8th is GW dependent

I go away for a few days and come back to this?!
They look pretty much how I expected and wanted, although I’m not drooling over them. They are so dynamic that they look like they are going to fall over. I’d buy them if I didn’t think it would make my big hat BCs feel like babies.

Zuh-Khinie:
Nope, not for me thank you…
I remember reading somewhere that the first few sculpts for BC and KD were destroyed for being inadequate…
Couldn’t these be some of the sculpts that didn’t make the cut?
Thommy H:
Why would they display them then? Also, they’re great.
Zuh-Khinie:
They’re big, but not great…
Why did forgeworld display the empire conversion sprues? Some of those didn’t make the final cut as well, or were recalled before publishing.
Why would new FW stuff first be found on a spanish site, instead of on a showcase in england?
I don’t know, I’m just glad I have 10 of the old ones ready for primer.
rpitts2004:
They're big, but not great...Don't worry Negative Nancy, they aren't forcing you to like or buy them. The reason it was on a spanish site is because gamesday was just in Barcelona Spain which I think they speak spanish there.

I know it was GD in Spain, but to my recollection, it's quite uncommon for FW to showcase new stuff in premiere outside of England.

Zanko:
I don’t like the style of them!
The pose is great but they look not dwarfish enough (like Skink already said), have no armour, have much too big horns and the base is ridiculously big!
All in all … I’m disappointed!
I hoped the model would look like the sketch in the Tamurkhan book! That was awesome!
To make my old BCs playable and quite good looking I will put two of them on one base. That will fit I think / hope…???

I’m rather pleased about the large bases.
Gives plenty of scope for doing interesting modelling with the bases.
bas_2312:
I might have to order some of these now. Their size seems appriopriate compared to these Forgeworld monstrosities.
