Very nice Infernal Guards! Are there some tail or tentacle bit in the Chaos Spawn or some monster kit which could be put on the tail end of the Destroyer? Or perhaps several chains instead of cables? Or even a small leg if you’ve got enough bits left over from the Maulerfiend kit?

Yeah i thought lets go something else then lava like almost everyone does.
And since they are chaos and there is a lot of magical stuff going on i thought lets just go with a nice contrasting color!

As the others have said, the lighter/bluer look makes a really nice change. Indeed, I’m sure they would still look good if it were the standard colour scheme, but it’s particularly noteworthy because it departs from the standard palette.

The blue glow is great on the machines. And feeding a demonic train ghostly coals is pretty damn scary!
The two best things on your Infernal Guard is the amazing banner and the super light beard rings. It looks like silver jewelry among beaten up steel - absolutely amazing detail. That is worth some of my slaves!
I don’t like the glow around the eyes. Executed perfect. But it’s too sci-fi / space marines for me.

20 fireglaives almost finished but i could not resist on finishing these first, though i totally repainted them haha.
Was not happy with the first result so this is how they look now ready to stomp!
Also did some changes that people pointed out.

O-la-la. Great Bull Centaurs! There’s nothing on them below the good standard of every other area you’ve painted. At first I thought the skin looked a bit plain, but upon closer inspection it’s clearly layered and looks a lot like actual tanned human skin. :cheers
Will they look out of place without any blue glow?

Probably not the strongest… no goblins (just didn’t have the time to do those) so ill have to do with the 2 khans.
Also its pretty hard comped Hasut or death is not allowed and more than 1 warmachine is also not appreciated.
Then i wanted to ask you all for some advice!
So far i have play tested 20 games already and from those 20 i played 15 against empire and won 0!!!
I don’t get why and would like some advice from you guys.
What he plays is the following:

I have tried everything!
From 3 warmachines to 3 units bull centaurs to k’daai to prophet on cow to spamming hobgoblins and really nothing works…
It’s so frustrating really…
I also play a wood elves army and then its a walk in the park…
He is an nice player but objectively i do consider myself the better player of the both of us. (not trying to be cocky here)
So does anyone have any idea what to do?
Or is it just a really bad matchup ?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
