Hashut’s Blessing:
We certainly do - use the archive ones as a guide for how to make the tutorial effective (quality and style of pictures, type of lnaguage and step by step break down etc).

I just finished the dreadquake, so expect to get the tutorial on Monday or Tuesday…

Admiral:
Naval article sent in.
Hashut’s Blessing:
ryanamandaanna: no rush, yours is likely to be in issue 13 (which will be Tamurkhan themed).
Ugly Green Trog: No rush, but the sooner the better!
Admiral: received.
As a note to everyone - if you have Storm of Magic stuff, send it in. Particularly looking for riderless Lammasu models and Great Taurus models, as well as any sorcerers (preferably mounted).
Ugly Green Trog:
The pics are all taken I just need to crop and resize them the do the write up bits and annotations to go in between
ryanamandaanna:
Just finished a Lammasu and I’m gonna have the rider (magnetized) finished by the end of the week. Would you like me to send pics?
Hashut’s Blessing:
Trog: good news!
Ryanamandaanna: Make sure to include your username in the e-mail please!

Ugly Green Trog:
Had a manicly busy weekend so I’m no further on I’m afraid, with any luck I’ll be done mid week.
Baggronor:
So is there a release date for this yet? Am working on the cover.
Hashut’s Blessing:
No release date yet - moving jobs and figuring out if I’m moving house or learning to drive, so I’m a bit behind on this.
Obsidian Muse:
I don’t know if you already have a (theme for a) battle-report, but I saw something interesting in the Tamurkhan book. On page 175 there’s a short piece about the differences and similarities between the warmachines of the Skaven and the Chaos Dwarfs. It also tells us briefly about the infamous ‘Nightmare of Drakenmoor’ in 2037 IC.
"Such were the terrible arcane forces unleashed between the actinic flashes of the Skaven Lighting Cannon, the howling destruction of the Chaos Dwarfs’ hell-furnaced colossus, and the reckless devastating spell-craft unleashed by sorcerers and warlocks of either side, that a tear in the fabric of reality opened up over the battlefield and a howling storm of magic laid waste to both armies. Daemon-abominations were loosed and nightmare phenomena ravaged the lands a hundred leagues in all directions for almost a year before the arcane tempest at last died away.
Both sides claimed victory."
A Storm of Magic battle-report between Skaven and Chaos Dwarfs, with mention of this excerpt from Tamurkhan would be hitting three flies with one stone: you’d involve the Skaven (which according the previous posts would be in this new issue), Storm of Magic and the new army list (even if the Chaos Dwarf player doesn’t use it).
What do you think?
Hashut’s Blessing:
If someone can do a Storm of Magic between Skaven and Chaos Dwarfs, then by all means, it’ll be in. Just finding someone able to do it! I am still trying to sort out my own article as well, but I’ve not had any time to myself for the last 18 days (with at least one more to come) and when I do get one, will spend time with my gf first.
Nicodemus:
We just wrapped up a 3-part Skaven vs. LoA Chaos Dwarf SoM game, but we only payed the first 3 turns of the first game and I didn’t keep detailed notes after that, so I don’t know how valueable it would be.
Admiral:
There were a few wording mistakes in the text I sent in. If you want, I can send you the updated version. (Since English is not my mother language, I’m sure there are still mistakes in the corrected version.)
Hashut’s Blessing:
Admiral, if you’ve already corrected them - send it in. otherwise, I’ll just proofread the version I have
Nico: If it’s already written up, send it in and have that be the end point of the game - number of fulcrums is the winner, if its a draw, its down to victory points
ryanamandaanna:
just sent you a pm with the lammasu
Admiral:
HB: I think a native English proofreader will do a better job than I have done.
But will you please switch “Blunderbussers” for “Warriors” in the second piece? Other than that, it’s only spelling errors if I reckon correctly.
Obsidian Muse:
Blessed:
If everything went well, you have just received an article of about 2800 words from me through your hotmail account. It’s an speculative piece on the human slaves of the Chaos Dwarfs. While English is my second language, I like to think it’s written rather well. Whether the readers of WoH will find it interesting is another question entirely, and I won’t be offended if it isn’t published.
Furthermore, I want to write a few questions for the Slave Pen. Do they have to be written in the guise of Chaos Dwarfs, or can the questions come from other races such as Skaven ambassadors, Chaos Lords, Daemons and our hated cousins?
