Excellente! Replied to PM.
Admiral:
How many more articles would you need for WoH #13 to make it past the finish line? I could perhaps supply you with a bit of fiction and a few small drawings for the sake of it, since it would be nice if the webzine continued despite the release of Throne of Tamurkhan.
If I buy a new camera and learn how to handle it, it could also be conceivable I could supply some simple “glowing eyes” tutorial and perhaps even shots of my converted Titan Wargames Royal Guards. Those might need to be finished as a unit if they are to be of interest, though. As a slow painter currently busy with 40k that might take a long while. But just so you know it, regardless of slow pace or long pauses I’d like to help keep the webzine active.
Perhaps a one or two-page showcase for Russian Alternative’s new Dwarfs of Fire Canyon would be a logical inclusion?
Hashut’s Blessing:
Unfortuately, I seem to have very little, if anything. So, between 25 and 30 pages worth?
Hashut’s Blessing:
I still have very little stuff to be perfectly honest. Sorry!
Admiral:
I’m in no hurry to acquire a good camera, but once I do I think I’ll start clobbing together articles. With any luck they could reach as high as 20 pages if need be.
What’s really holding a certain long article back is my slow paint speed. I’m quite sure a certain ultra-converted headtaker regiment of mine will be of enough interest to cover several pages if the presentation with background and photos is done well (I have plans there), but it ought to be finished first. Only 8 of circa 40 finished this far. Once that horde is done and a good camera is in hand I promise to deliver some meat/filler material for the webzine. I don’t think it’ll disappoint.
Vantraxx the Thrice Cursed:
Ok i just read through every episode. This stuff is gold. Thank you all for contributing and keeping the flames of Hashut ablaze. Honestly there is a lot of fan based stuff on the net but the World of Hashut is NEXT LEVEL. Wow, just WOW!
Hashut’s Blessing:
admiral - will try to get to reading the articles in the next few days. Got a dozen jobs on the go, plus personal commitments, but I WILL get to them! I may make a new e-mail address and get people to submit articles to that, then I have a convenient place to see how many articles with have.
Vantraxx: kudos goes wholly to Willmark and all of the contributors! I just took over from there…
Admiral:
Haha, take your time if you’re busy. I’m not impatient, just eager.
Kera foehunter:
Stop the press
there are going to be some stuff we would like to add
when the new dead line
Admiral:
I’m guilty of spamming submissions to HB now. :hat
Admiral:
Will do! :hat off
Staff, my only experiences in dabbling with homemade magazines of any kind was with a teaching program on an old Windows 95. Still, could I help out by writing wrap-ups and short presentation texts for all the news which have hit the CD world since issue #12?
There’s quite some Forgeworld and Russian Alternative stuff to cover, plus Titan Wargames, Bezhukk and a few more. Everything of this deserves a mention if it is legally possible.
I could perhaps send a few interview questions to Rozmax or the owner of RA (I’ve had nice correspondence with him before and came with a helpful suggestion for his Ebay side) if you want me to do so. Perhaps some quickies to Baggronor as well. I guess legal thumb rules would prevent any questions being answered by the CD sculptors at FW, or? It wouldn’t be bad to hear some of their thoughts when designing the LoA range.
It should be possible for me to occassionally get spare time during the coming months to help out with WoH editing/writing, but how about layout? Is there already a set framwork which a fool beginner can use? I would like to see this hobby fan magazine to go strong now that there’s been an upsurge in CD releases and players.
Please tell me if I can help out with anything.
Admiral:
Alright, this plane has been hijacked for this issue. Please send your submissions to me as well, because I’ll try my hand at editting together WoH #13 in the coming weeks or months. The first technical problem has been overcome. No matter how old the submission is by now, send it in again regardless, or else you might miss the train and have to wait for #14.
Any volunteers for scale shots of alternative ranges? Or perhaps artwork volunteers? Or other articles?
In any case:
Go, go, go!
Admiral:
Thank you very much, everyone, for your great submissions! It was never clear if I’d get the time to learn an editing program and start cobbling together WoH #13 this summer. I haven’t had the time yet, and the demands of upcoming studies and autumn tournaments will probably suck away opportunities in the coming weeks or even months.
Should anyone wish to take over from here, then by all means you’re welcome! I’ll send over all collected material so far. If not, I’ll try to squeeze in a little time for it hen and then during autumn. I’ll gladly do it, but it might take until after Christmas depending on circumstances.
And if anyone have a submission to make, then by all means PM it to me. I’ll get round to try and make a magazine out of them eventually. A lot of the building material is already there, but we might need some more.l
Admiral:
Dreadfleet pictures would be good to have, Herby.
If someone can point me in the direction a a free and quick-to-learn magazine editing program of some sort, I might get it done before studies start. That’s probably the biggest obstacle, everything else is just a matter of finding some spare time to get it done.
Admiral:
Reminder: If you have any material which you wish to submit to the magazine and haven’t yet done so, then don’t linger too long. I’ll probably get enough spare time to try and start cobbling together an issue in a few week’s time, if not earlier. We’ll see how fast and smooth that goes, but if you wish to showcase your army, story or newfangled conversion, then go ahead and be our guest.
Step-by-step painting articles would be particularly welcome to round things out.

I cannot work without deadlines - never. Deadlines in my life is right now is:
30th sep - GHXXI and Hunting Exam
So I would like a deadline Admiral.
Kera foehunter:
someone needs to grab the bull by the horn and get a staff together like the old days this is way to big for one person to do. this is why it taken 2 .5 years for one issue.
or start with something smaller or maybe once a year.most of the old one have went on and now we need some people to step up. There i said it… So on to the next step We need a staff of people and a mod.
Admiral:
Indeed, but I can't promise any participation of my own in a future WoH staff. I'll of course contribute articles if I have anything to give, but the current WIP project is just a torch-bearing work, to catch up with current events since last issue, get another magazine issue to read and make it easier to continue for those who hopefully comes afterwards.

Bloodbeard:
Admiral only took over the project recently, and is working with it in his spare time - studying being his actual job. And with everything going on here at the forum + CDs actually having official rules and releases from different companies, the need for a WoH is not as big. So the 2,5 years thing is not really a factor.

Finger nails scratch down the lava rock ..One does not give slave to a mod. now he will get fat and lazy with all them doing his work. I send him black orcs. to keep him on his toes.. and fire a earth shaker canon at him..you must earn your payThe above being an example.
