Hey Guys I am serriously considering selling my first incarnation of my Chaos dwarves Included will be
Lamassu with white dwarf sorcerer
4 Chaos dwarf Bazooka bolt thrower
2 Chaos dwarf Sorcerers
2 Regiments of 24 Blunderbusses
2 Regiments of 20 Warriors
15 Boar centaur’s
1 Deamoneater
1 Earthshaker and 3 crew
1 Kollosus
How much do you think I can list/Advertise them for I will be finnishing the last regiments before I sell them but I am currious to know if any here would like them or if anyone would advise me on where and how to list. Do not fear as I shall continue wiht my mask and helm versions soon and will be posting some up in the near future as my Hwatcha deathrocket platforms near completion.
Thorne:
deathrocket’s well underway, 9 bull centaurs completed the new army is starting to look pretty good all told, 30 dwarves to be converted into a big block or warriors. 20 Em4 crossbow weilding dwarves ready to be converted into blunderbusses.
Thorne:
I know its been a god awfull long time since I posted anything in reguard my own force. As many will plainly see I took a completely new direction with my newer force taking them in the masks direction. The hard work fo Tjub inspired me a great deal but now I feel its time to move on with what I had learnt with greenstuff and the way it works.
I was far too old school stuck working wiht miliput. I think that lead me to what now next to my new force ot look like a reasonable effort. But not a magnificent one. Now I feel that I have got what I feel and many others may think is a better army. To this length I went and made a completely new force taking with me the ideas I had for the first force and perfecting them with the skills I have learnt with the new media to me of green stuff. These are the results so far.
Centaurs
Warriors
blunderbusses
blunderbusses
blunderbusses (these guys havent had the masks done yet so more to come when I get arround to them)
deathrockets
hobgoblins
taurus and despot
hellcannon

Earthshaker

Now all I need is a very cool lick of paint, Red and black silver and brass id reckon with some other beards dotted in for good measure.
Loki:
Great work with the green stuff, really like how you have linked the army with the big skulls which look great as well and the big stars on the banner and the cannon mouth really work looking forward to seeing them all painted up soon
Thorne:
Update

Could you post some more pics of the upper/first centaurs?! Would like to see more of them!
How did you make your blunderbusses?
:hashut
Da Crusha:
Nice updates Throne, I like the silver (anybody who’s seen my army knows that). your units loook really nice. I noticed you sprayed the army silver, did you spray it black first, for the recesses? if you want to add shading, a bit of devlun mud would work nicely.
Thorne:
As requested Zanko some pictures of the upper torso’s of my centaurs cant vouch for the quality of the pictures but I think the sculpting looks alright.

Nick Lund + Em4 hard plastic ABS dwarves and a plastic bead with a little greenstuff to fit in the end of the bead shows you a average blunderbuss. Workable results with a newly finished helm and a curly beard it aint so bad

Da crusher yes I did spray the army silver, but no I didnt spray it black first. I used enamel paint first off then for the recesses I then mixed 1 part black gloss enamel with 4 parts enamel thinner to add shading and save a lot of time with brushes I then put the liquid in a cheap dry spray bottle from a well known household cleaning spray bottle and washed the whole force. Took less than 30 seconds to wash over the entire army with this method.
Da Crusha:
wow what a time saver. good work!
Thorne:
Well I should really get a motor on with paint but truth be told I’m learning to sculpt better, I am planning on making a all female IG army but problems crop up when you least expect them too as to what on earth do I use for the base of the models and such like not to mention head problems too. Still cant decide if to do all female Kreige Valhallan or Vostryon choices choices but then again I cant sculpt bearskin hats for the Vostryon either
Fequiil:
no hats! i’m so proud!
Thorne:
Just to let people know I have listed my Kollosus, Deamoneater and hobgoblin detachment on eBay. Im also considering selling my helm mask chaos dwarves that havent had a touch with paintbrush since my last post. After years of faithfull working my laptop died and im in need of a newbeastie with cash being short and all I think its time to part with some of my old and sadly gathering dust stuff.
dncswlf:
Do you base your guys in silver? Are their Beards metal? just curious…
Thorne:
Base coated silver I just hadnt got arround to painting the rest of them Dncswlf.
