Nah, the champion’s beard is beautiful. Like it. Someone said you previously that your models looked better from the back 'cause of the beard covering all of their front. I like your new style, go for it. The banner is an Ogre’s one isn’t it???

I had been toying with the idea of converting one of the new skaven clan warriors and a goblin to make a hobgoblin. And when I saw CheTralfaras excelent result the it was easily decided… Though I think Ill save the furr on arms and legs, the plan is to paint them more pale/yellowish and with black hair.

The Hobbo of the clan is indeed a nice idea for beautiful greenskinz. However you know what? Looking at Che Tralfara’s minis I noticed that they have all the same position. Not very dynamic… Though this will suit a whole rank’n’file unit it isn’t the best choice for a charachter IMO (as you want it to stand out from normal troops)… If I have to be honest I like more your old Hobbo Overseer (for the reasons above).
Anyway your GS skills are improved indeed. The Dwarf Warriors are well executed. Are you going to make a unit equipped with Hand weapons & Shield as well? (as I liked the swords on your older unit).

The unit of Chaos Dwarfs are looking great. I find your models have a unified cartoon-inspired look that manages to stay fresh with every new unit. Keep up the great army.

The model with the big horns is actually a hero, one of the few models I saved from my old army and just pimped out a bit… There will be more stones and lava on the bases to come in that unit, not that big thou, but he wont look that lonely. The champ is the one pointing his axe.
@Dead Kennedy: Thanks! No progress is slow, too much work and real life in between. But the aim is to finish this unit + my entry for GHXI before its a FoW break again…
Btw, the big stone base in the first pic is for something huge and wonderfull, but work has been slow…
